The classic fish and chips restaurant in London. It is my family’s favorite. Always try to come back here whenever we are back in London as it also reminds us of wonderful memories.

The Two Brothers Fish Restaurant on Regent’s Park Road, Finchley is a handsome little Fish & Chips ‘shop’ which also serves an assortment of grilled fish and seafood. Our party of eight ordered evenly, half haddock and the other half cod. I tried both and found them equally well battered,  fried crunchy out and perfectly moist and juicy in. But preferred the cod (I ordered haddock). Try the jellied eels, they’re fantastic with a squirt of lemon/lime and a dash of Tabasco. Service is good, making up for the lack of smiles with speed. Worth a visit. Oh, and if you don’t want to visit but still want to give them a try, there’s a dedicated take away next door.

Waste NOT. Want NOT.

When both my friend and I said to other people that we were going for fish and chips in Finchley, all the people independently asked if we were going to the very well known Two Brothers Fish Restaurant. We had not realised until then at how popular this North Finchley establishment was! There is always something comforting and classic about fish and chips! Two Brothers has a lot on offer including haddock, cod and plaice. They do grilled fish if you are not in the mood for the fried battered variety. Two Brothers has such a lovely welcoming feel to it and feels quite family orientated. It is a restaurant for everyone: couples, elderly folks, families and friends. The service is personal, friendly, efficient and not at all pretentious. The fish and chips was a really big portion; a lot bigger than I had expected. The battered plaice fillet made a nice change to the regular cod and haddock. The fish was fresh, tasty and had a light crispy batter. The chips were chunky and just perfect. F

It is a cliché, repeated so often (mainly by Northerners) that it has almost become an accepted fact, that there are no decent fish and chip shops in London. This is rubbish of course; there are some good fish and chip shops, there are just lots and lots of very bad ones. But there are also lots and lots of very bad restaurants of all kinds, and just because there's a Bella Pasta on every road in the West End doesn't mean the likes of Zucca and Trullo and Polpetto get overlooked. It's something unique to chippies, this idea that unless they're all good, they all simultaneously get dismissed as bad as one homogonous bunch. And it's also vaguely patronising - why shouldn't producing a top quality battered haddock and chips be just as difficult as a nice Osso buco or Fritto Misto ? Good food is never easy, particularly so fish and chips. So put to the back of your mind the pallid, curled-up bits of fish kept warm for hours in your local takeaway, and brace yourself for the long tube ride

Exceptionally clean restaurant throughout! 👏 I must say, and this is rare to hear from me - almost everything was just perfect👌. All we ate was amazing except for the chips with parmesan. £5 for it was way too much, and I would not recommend this side. Dry parmesan on top of very dry chips. This must improve. The hygiene in the restaurant is top level.☝️ The floor is clean and mopped properly. No sticky chairs or tables! I like that a lot! There is no clutter of the cutlery. Service was great, too! Air-conditioning on just the right level, some places you may freeze to death. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, mainly for the quality and great taste of the food. Thank you! 😀

Although I had not dined here in a while, it was like having never been away. As is always the case, I was warmly greeted at the door, quickly seated and my order taken. The food is extremely scrumptious, well presented and the portions more than ample. Two Brothers Fish Restaurant is a wonderful family run business in lovely spacious surroundings. The staff are polite, friendly and extremely attentive, which makes for a great dining experience. It is definitely the place to dine in to satisfy your need for a tasty fish lunch/dinner/supper.

A mid-week fish n chip craving sated by a delicious trip to Two Brothers. The fish was huge, fresh and delicious, the chips were chunky and the mushy peas smooth. A number of wines were sadly unavailable but our waitress was friendly and helpful in recommending alternatives, surprisingly better choices than we may have otherwise made. We could choose the table of our choice with a selection of bench and chair seating available. It was quiet when we arrived around 19:30 but suddenly the quite mid week became a busy bustling evening with almost every table occupied! The mid-week staffing level was perhaps a little short to cope with the sudden influx but the team pulled together well to ensure everyone at every table had a good and plentiful time. There is a step as you walk in through the front door that may be a challenge for people with mobility issues but we observed the team help those finding it difficult. Parking is on-street if you can find a space but busses stop nearby and the underground is a short walk away.

On a weekday evening, it was very quite. Only one more family was there. The well done Salmon stake was fresh and delicious. The Hollandaise sauce was very well matched to perfect sour taste. My friend had the fish burger which was also done good. Quite a handful serving of fries. The ambiance and lighting was very relaxing. The website has not been updated with the current prices. It was £20 for each person. The person serving us was very delightful and professional. Would definitely come back again to try the other dishes.

Great place (or should I say Plaice)! Fish and chips was amazing, soft flaky white fish with a crisp batter and really tasty! Highly recommend, quick service and not busy at all when I was there, 6:30 on a Sunday. Have a look at the photos!
