Amazing service! Been here a couple of times during my London visit and I’d much rather be here than at any of the other coffee places in the area. Tried the iced latte and it was delicious, but I really loved their Flat White. Staff was very friendly and there’s a personal touch to the place.
Located in a stylish contemporary COR-TEN steel + glass structure and run by a Christian Charity and spilling onto the reconstituted surroundings.
Serving cakes, pastries, soft drinks, tea and flavoursome coffee in its various guises.
Staff diffident and courteous.
Proficient, pleasant and relaxed h
Kahalia Aldgate is a great coffee shop located in the new(ish) Aldgate Square area on the outskirts of the City of London.
With floor-to-ceiling windows all the way round, it’s a great place filled with light and perfect for people watching.
Having been there a handful of times for a takeaway coff
Tried this gorgeous apricot cake with a glass of prosecco. It was a lovely evening, so sat outside and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the area, whilst relaxing with these goodies. Lovely service from the lady, she was patient and kind. Totally recommend for a lunch break or a quick drink after wor
Nice and bright café with coffees to my taste. I tend to spend at least a few hours here especially on a sunny day. There're sockets inside and there's a unisex toilet. On a side note, a weird guy does come in to voluntarily help the staff in exchange of coffee/water, nothing major though so no need
This is the coolest cafe in the area! Beautiful 360 views of the surrounding business district with quality coffee and food items. The owners also have an amazing vision for their business. I highly recommend stopping by if it's time for coffee/tea or you're in the area.
As others have said, a fantastic, quirky building...like the ship in Cocoon or Flight of the Navigator. Real cool. It was clean, peaceful, staff nice, food looks nice. They are part of the city of London community toilet scheme so let you use their toilets without buying anything if you want. And th
Cozy little cafe with good coffee drinks and cakes, and at lunchtime they make large panini-pressed sandwiches that looked delicious (didn't actually have one but they were laid out all pretty). Sat and was served outside to enjoy the goings on of the courtyard in which it resides. Nice.
Really unique building set in the square next to St. Botolph w/o Aldgate. Coffee is same Kahaila you'd find at their shop in Brick Lane but, tbh, the baristas here are less skilled. Snacks are a bit limited, too. But the location and the architecture are to be experienced. Small, and no power so
Great spot to come for a coffee. They also do rooibos latte’s if you’re feeling fancy. There’s ample seats and the staff are friendly.
Fantastic place! Added to my list of go-to places when I need a fix. Conveniently located next to Aldgate station, it is small but spacious (compliments to the architects) with views to the St. Botolph and its small adjacent square.. Great service and great coffee. Ideal for take away or quick catch
Beautiful building, lovely staff and delicious coffee! Love sitting here in the sunshine with one of their tasty toasted sandwiches.
Great little escape in the centre of town. Lovely coffee ans do a killer bacon roll! Be quick, they tend to run out by 10am
The best cake, friendly staff, very chilled ambience, and looks like there'll be some lovely scenery outside soon. Great place to meet or work in the middle of the city!
The thai chicken soup with sour dough bread is delicious. Service was very friendly. Clean and quirky looking building.
Nice place for a coffee and a treat. Lovely big window, a view of the grass in the square and very friendly staff.
