🚇 Nine Elms 🍺 £5.00 Guinness ❤️ A superb community Irish pub. . Nolan’s is located at the end of a precinct of shops on Wilcox Road in South Lambeth. The nearest tube is Nine Elms which is just a couple of minutes walk away. At the opposite end of the precinct is the long closed Gladstone pub. . This pub’s footprint is quite unique as it’s a long building that is detached. This pub was built in 1856 and used to be a Courage House called The Prince of Wales. . The decor here oozes proper oldschool pub which I loved. There is a stripped wood floor throughout, the walls are painted blue to add a splash of colour and overall the ambiance was cheery. There are three dartboards if you fancy a game of arrows and a pool table near to the entrance to the bar. There are loads of trophies on shelves around the walls celebrating the pub’s success at the oche. This pub loves its sport and always shows live action on the screens around the bar. Being an Irish pub you will see plenty of signs and prints advertising the black stuff, no pub would be complete without a fish tank behind the bar! . The beer line up was straight up with familiar keg favourites but no cask. If you’re going to visit an Irish pub then you have to try the Guinness, my pint was top notch and I really enjoyed it, price point was a fiver, happy days. The pub doesn’t serve food but bar snacks are available. . I arrived with my Brother and Nephew just after opening on a Saturday morning and we were the first punters in. We were served by the lovely Landlady who was very welcoming and all smiles. There was lots of activity going on preparing the pub for the days trade. We sat having a chat and watching the golf on one of the screens and all commented how enjoyable the pub felt. . I absolutely loved this pub, get yourself over to SW8 to enjoy great hospitality in a proper oldschool Irish pub. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 28.01.23

Visited while staying with some friends in the area. Lovely pub, very quaint and cozy. Reminiscent of small-town bars I used to go to growing up in the Canadian wilderness. If I lived around here I'd come by daily.

The owners have always been attentive and friendly to me. Has a great atmosphere, full of locals and new people popping in every day. Playing pool table and darts is fun, and karaoke nights are frequent. All in all a great place.

Best pint of Guinness you'll find in London. A lovely traditional pub with the friendliest welcome. Not many left like this one, sadly.

It's a genuine travesty that Google limits the amount of stars I can give this pub to 5. If only Google could contemplate the quality of this incredible place and the Gabriel's wonderful family who run it, and make it feel far less like the local and far more like home. Google would surely concede that this pub is perhaps the only on this planet that truly deserves 6 stars.

Nolans is the best pub I've ever been to. Every time I leave I think it can't be topped, and every time I return they outdo themselves. Like a knight and his sword, with each collective experience we learn more about each other, becoming not two constituent parts of man and pub but one single entity fusing love and pints. Everything about the place is sublime. The pints are cheap, the pub games plentiful, and sean once gave us a huge bowl of sausages on the house cos he's good like that. 5 stars doesn't cut it.

If you like a up market gastro pub paying through the nose for arty farty beers this may not be the place for you. But if you like more of a spit and sawdust place, without any actual spit or sawdust. Enjoy a quiet pint at a local at reasonable prices. A propper pub as pubs use to be. Worth a visit if nearby.

They are really friendly here and they have darts and pool. TV screens decent but could be better. Always want to talk to you. Also they have a nice cat called Harry (it's a Tottenham pub) All round it's cheaper than Griffin (it's main competion). Nice and old school with a good bar. Would recommend this place to any visitors and locals!!!!!! Great place if you are looking for food go to the nearby Vauxhall belle/Griffin.
