I rate the quality and taste of the food as a high end restaurant. I never done anywhere in that part of london. But the quality, taste of the sea food is beyond excellent, I highly recommend this restaurant for friends and family
Went to revamped Faulkners on Tuesday. Like the new decor and the food was excellent and portions enormous. Good drink choice anime the eco friendly attempts.

Normally I shun fish and chips. I reckon it's due to my upbringing and culture, where we prefer and eat way more grilled fish. Also, previous experience in the canteen at work have done little to improve my prejudice. Faulkner's has showed me you can actually have really good fish and chips, with a haddock or cod fillet that tastes like real fish does, and chips with potato in them. Well done, Faulkner's, count me as a customer.
We went there as a party of 6, ordered starter Platter for 4 and extra portion of calamari plus 2 Cod and Chips, Skate Wing and Chips and Grilled Tuna and Chips (they didn’t have mash potatoes on the day). It was good size portions and we were stuffed. Food came out piping hot, which we all liked.
It was not too busy on the day and we ask if we could sit at the corner and waitress was so nice and helpful to move us. Highly recommend this place.
I had the privilege to be served by the owner. When you're looking for a good place to eat at Dalston area this place will stand out. The food they offered is really good and delicious be it handmade bread or baklava or fish and chips. I highly recommend the place for dine-in/take out. Lots of people comes for take away and people gives good credit to the food they're ordering as I was there for about less than 2hrs. I ordered for 4 people and took the rest away as i can't eat anymore.

Back here the second time. Had chicken burger calamari and cod fish. All very tasty and fresh. Friends if you happen to be around this area, this restaurant is a must try.

Amazing old school fish and chip shop; their chips are so crunchy on the outside but smooth and fluffy when you bite into them. Very chunky fat chips. They now have a tv screen up by the menu and you can watch your order being fried while you wait. A great price too ar £2.50 for a small portion. Lovely crispy but moist fish cake. Have been coming here since 2015. I noticed that food writer Fuchsia Dunlop comes here quote often and raves about. Also the staff are incredibly friendly and polite. I ordered take out but the very kind person who served me said I would be welcome to sit on their bench and eat. A kind offer on a very scorching day. Also they serve sweet potato fries, which very few chippies offer.

I was walking with my friends few weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon, we were looking for a place for a bite. This restaurant was really welcoming. The weather was nice, we had a table outside. The service was professional and friendly and the fish was really tasty. Great place to eat, I will be back.
In my opinion the best East London chippy it has many owners over the years and each new owner has up held the high standards and expectations of their customer base from hipsters to seniors.
Best chippy in town. Crispy batter, smooth fish and crunchy chips. I hate oily fish and chips and, in this place it is absolutely delicious, not greasy at all and still tasty. Lovely staff and very clean. Thumbs up!
the service was great, the employees were as caring and friendly as possible. It was the best fish and calamari I have ever eaten. I definitely recommend. I bet London's best fish and chips are here. By the way, they have an incredibly clean kitchen.
A lovely place to eat or have a coffee. Genuinely friendly staff who care about everyone that comes in. I particularly like the fresh Turkish pastries and homemade fishcakes.
The rebirth of an east London institution... Great quality, fresh fish and a good range of choice. Service with a smile. Definitely recommend for that classic British meal..

A great place for a morning Golzeme freshly warmed up at the front of the store. Lovely friendly service and inside and outside seating.

I love this little hide away🥰 I actually eat at the accompanying restaurant whr I generally hv a mixed Gozleme (favourite). It's lovely if ur solo. Service is with a smile and always a welcome 😊😊
The chips on the fish and chips side are the best I've ever tasted. Went to the restaurant side and ordered grilled cod and chips. Place was quiet, service friendly but slow. Fish a bit dry, only lemon juice (fresh) and tartare sauce (packet) to cheer it up. Chips tepid, leathery. Price also quite steep.
