I was there for a Thanksgiving special dinner. The food was just amazing. Every single dish (and there were many!) was amazing on its own: well balanced seasoning, perfect cooking time, lightness... the setting is welcoming and tasteful and the staff is really nice. Great place.
I had a wonderful brunch at Outsider Tart today, and even though I entered alone, I felt like I left a place where folk will remember me, and clientele that I'd like to go for a drink with! Friendly atmosphere, lovely food :)
Great breakfast spot and the corn cakes are perfect. Love the coffee and the service is good even if a bit sassy :)

Visited here today with my wife Maria and good friend Nina, and boy we weren't disappointed!! The iced coffee was strong and smooth and the brownies and rice crispie/marshmallow/peanut butter cake were to die for!!! The staff were lovely and so friendly! Will definitely be back to try more off of the menu soon!! Thank You guys ✌️

Amazing food and David and David could not have been more welcoming and entertaining, you should really charge extra for this! My daughter bought the cook book for her Auntie who we had taken for her birthday. David signed it and chatted to us about the book and baking, which just made the birthday treat even more special thank you.A truly wonderful place. We all love love it xxxx

Super yummy cake and amazingly friendly reception. By the looks of things the dog biscuits were very tasty as well, my dog hoovered up every single crumb :) I love that there is such a genuinely dog friendly place that is great for both dogs and people.
Visiting from Australia and saw this on Britians Best Bakeries at home and it did not disappoint. Well worth it!!
Visited the blue plate cafe for brunch today. Wanted to go for ages and was not disappointed. Mamas French toast was to die for. Will definitely be back.
Excellent for a morning or afternoon coffee. Their pastries and cakes are always delicious. Service could be faster. For this kind of shop I was expecting a china cup for our eat-in coffees.

Stumbled across this chic little cafe when strolling through Chiswick this weekend and we are so glad we did!
My sister was on the hunt for pancakes- which is what we originally went in for- but upon entry there is a very long counter of the most incredible looking cakes and pastries to feast your eyes on!
The owners are sooo cool and make you feel so easy and relaxed- the portion sizes are huge - and the whole place just has such a brilliant vibe.
After shuffling down the counter trying to work out which flavour of monstrous cake we were going to devour, we settled on the following:
- Banana Cake with a walnut and cream cheese frosting
- Peanut butter Chocolate fudge cake
- Lemon Vanilla shortcake
- Carrot cake - full of raisins, cranberries and walnuts
We also ordered the double stuff chocolate pancakes with (vegan) fluff...before you judge- we were a party of 6!
I can honestly say, everything was outstanding in flavour and the coffee was smooth and scrumptious too!
I would highly recommend this place if you have a sweet-tooth...the choice is amazing and you certainly wont be disappointed.
Thank you guys for a truly wonderful experience...we will be back!
I always love going to Outsider Tart for brunch. Their pancakes are stunning and very moreish. Two will do for me, and they're always perfectly cooked, fluffy and doused in a good deal of maple syrup. Their cornbread with homemade jam, always served warm from the oven is absolutely stunning, a true showstopper. I'd love to try one of their evening meals but live too far away!
Isn’t Chiswick just brilliant? Great new joints opening up all the time, lovely homes, exciting auction houses – makes me happy. Today we discovered Outsider Tart, just my kind of café. Sumptuous portions of tasty food, relaxed setting, and wait for it…a Barkery!! Anyone that loves my dog, I love. And any place that does pies and cakes and brownies that look good enough to gobble in one giant gobble, I love even more.
Since it’s that time of the year that everyone is doing resolutions, I’m doing another one. (My main one back in October was to do the things I want to do rather than adding them on wishlist, e.g. my dream trip to Japan which is already booked). My 2nd one is going to be to enjoy the gift of time and actually take proper time for myself.
Although I had seen Outsider Tart loads of times and it was on my wishlist for a while, I never really had the chance to go inside. Today decided I wanted to try it. I'm so glad I did. Loved the decor immediately. Ordered a capuccino and a delicious cheesecake and went to the cosy room to enjoy a book. It was so peaceful and quiet that it felt like a really perfect place to be. Will be back more often to try more cakes and catch up with my reading.
I have only sampled the cake selection from this place so far but dear god...they are incredible!! A must visit for any sweet tooth. Nice interior too, good music playing and outside seating. A definite winner all round.
Blai and I went back for brunch this morning. Blai was utterly rapturous about his cheesy grits and biscuit while I decided to try something else and went for the migas (£9.50), an excellent Tex-Mex mixture of scrambled eggs here with sausage, blue corn tortilla chips, onions, jalapenos and sour cream. There was also a good chunk of excellent cornbread.
Place is amazing inside. Sitting outside is nice too on a sunny day. Coffee was nice and strong.
That chocolate and peanut butter 🥜 thing was sooo yummy and filling.
Even Hector felt so relaxed and fell asleep. 😅

What an incredible vibe! With colourful lights and an american design, the Outsider Tart is the place to be. An authentic american bake shop and cafe with great service, professional staff and yummy desserts. I definetely recommend it!
By far the best cafe in Chiswick. I spent many hours here.
The atmosphere is really chill and nice, the coffee is very good and they have some nice original specials and the food portions are BIG.

Brunch straight from the U.S! Waitress was lovely and attentive. She actually chose what to order and I wasn't disappointed. I would of liked some crunch with the one eyed monster just for texture but the taste on the chilli was amazing! French toast was packed with cinnamon which I loved! I will definitely be going back. The drinks selection is very good too. They have a large selection of pastries at the entrance counter.
Great place for a take away coffee/tea. Much better quality than those standard shops.

The buttermilk pancakes with Nutella were amazingly scrumptious. I ordered two and they were enough to share with a friend. Bright airy atmosphere. The portion size was also large.
I didn’t give it 5 stars because the service could improve a little.
The best coffee in W4 without a doubt... if there is a better tasting coffee please tell me... maybe not the best place to go if you are calorie counting and on a diet! Again tell me a better place to indulge your sweet tooth and that's just the tray baked cakes... WARNING the menu is seriously good and will have you returning for more! 10/10 Outsider Tart. A true Chiswick High Rd gem...
Delicious fluffy blueberry pancakes and apple cinnamon french toast. Lovely service with a smile by a young lady we met at the counter. Great strong coffee too.
