There are many things which I love, and that includes cake and wine, so what better way to spend a fine evening than at the beautifully refurbished Maison Blanc restaurant and garden on Fulham Road. Maison Blanc is a French Boulangerie and Pâtisserie that was created in Oxford in 1981, establishing itself as the first authentic pâtisserie

If there is one thing I've learned over the years it's this; indulgence should be delved into with gusto and appreciation. Indulgence, should, in fact, be de riguer. Not everyday, all day, but just enough to make you grateful for the very good things in life - and there is little that betters fine wine, craftsmanship at its best and good company.
Nowhere better sums this up than at Maison Blanc's deliciously indulgent patisserie. As I entered this Aladdin's cave of heavenly cakes I was transported back to Paris and Bordeaux where I studied the art of drinking and eating fine food rather more passionately than absorbing the great works of Flaubert, Descartes and Moliere a million years ago.
The first thing I have to say, and God forgive my ignorance, is that I never knew how well wine and cakes could be paired together. What a blithering idiot I turned out to be. What was put before me not only looked as though Michalengelo had been busy at work, but the wines that were served with these divine creations turned out to be rather splendid.
The star of the show, without a shadow of a doubt in my mind was the 'signature' Concerto, a luscious, multi layered chocolate concoction with which I sipped a smooth cotes du Rhone.
If it's not cake you're after, however, the savoury menu has plenty of temptations on the menu and resisting the Croques Monsieur was certainly hors de question. A gooey, unctuous, gorgeous mouthful of melted compte cheese and smoked ham served on toasted artisan bread, always the ultimate indulgent snack of my choice.
To add to the evening's delights, the evening was spent in the garden of the Fulham road branch, a delightful setting with climbing plants, brand new decking and a seated bench, hand crafted to surround the garden's focal point, a beautiful historic tree.
At this point I must add that the service was impeccable (said in a French accent). Polite, smiling staff dispensed the wine and food with grace and a wonderful demeanour.
What more can I add? If you're not tempted to hotfoot it to your nearest location, I'm either a bad story teller or you're an alien from Mars. Je vous Felicite Maison Blanc. Long may you reign.

This is simply a wonderful Riverside restaurant serving food at the highest standards. The cheese soufflé is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The menu is sublime. I’m the service flawless. Nick was our server and really went out of his way to make the experience special. The restaurant manager, Stephen is a superb host. The menu is very well priced for the quality and the drinks, especially champagne are really good value compared to other restaurants nearby. I can only praise on this little gem in Fulham. . they’re open on Christmas Day for a fixed price menu. Hope to see you there. I’ve enclosed a photo of the menu in my photos.

Had a great time dining at the Hammersmith branch. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced, staff were great, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was super chill. Would definitely visit again.

Very nice French restaurant on West side by the river. Had the trio of beetroot, burrata with lovage pesto & Chalkstrean Trout. Delicious and well presented. Service was also good.

What a cute riverside brasserie! We had Sunday lunch there and the food and services were great! There’s a Sunday special where you get 2 courses for £25. So I got the cheese soufflé and fish cake which were both very good. I could eat that cheese soufflé everyday!

Fantastic sunday lunch, fully booked which is always a good sign. I had the pork ribeye and my fiancée had the beef roast. Very flavourful and tasty, service was attentive but not pretentious. Wine list also well assorted, I went for the Bordeaux by glass and she had the Rhone, both very nice. Finishing off with an espresso, treacly and we’ll made. Recommend a visit, great location as well for a river walk! Thanks Mr Blanc!

Delicious and beautifully presented food. Would highly recommend! The salted caramel espresso martini is a must to try. They also have a section of the restaurant that is dog friendly which is great after walking on the riverside. Well priced for the area

Lunch time meal deal is affordable and delicious. Refer to pictures for portion sizes. The leek soup I had was very good and it was big. Main course was an amazingly juicy chicken with peas and potatoes. The skin was crisp and the meat flavourful. And never have I liked peas so much. It was all well seasoned and cooked. I had their pistachio soufflé and again I only have praise for their food. Latte was on the weaker side though. All in all the food was amazing at a reasonable price point, next to the river and comes with superb service.

Regulalrly go there as it's close to home. Greta service and dog freindly too (although that means you sit in the bar/ side areas area not main restaurant which is fine as not eveypne loves dogs). Food good - the Steak nights on Wednesday are good value and on Mondays you can bring your own wine. The wlak along teh river to and from makes it an enjoyable evening all round.

Great location and a good choice of French/European food on the menu. Portions are a little on the small side compared to brasseries in Paris but food is high quality and tasty nevertheless. Great place for a Sunday roast with family as they can easily accommodate large groups.

I really have no word to say. This restaurant served the BEST pork I ever taste in my whole life. What an awesome dish! It almost melt in my mouth for real. For starter, I ordered bread with melt cheese and it was wonderful. The bread is crispy and soft at the same time, cheese is so creamy, they are the perfect combination. Boiled vegetables are also served at the same time with main dish, and they are fresh and soft so easy to eat. For dessert, I tried chocolate cake, it’s not so sweet and more like mousse but so good too. I love this restaurant and you will too.

Excellent, attentive and welcoming service. The squid salad is absolutely delicious. My husband and I had it. For main, I had the confit de canard and my husband had the rump steak which was perfectly cooked, as requested. Finally, for dessert, a most delicious gluten free rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream. Overall, superb! Update: June 7, 2022 I no longer can recommend this place. I am not sure how could this place have a 180 degree shift to the worse. We went there, yesterday, to celebrate our daughter's birthday. What a disaster! Everything was bad. The service was terrible, a non-attentive waiter who also has hygiene issues. He dropped what he was carrying on the floor. Someone came to help him clear and then waiter picked what was on the floor and carried on walking straight to pick an order. This is a fault on the waiter as immediately on the counter where he was working there was hand gel. Two main items on the menu were not available: burger and the confit de canard. During our booking we mentioned the birthday as well as the gluten free option for me. The gluten free menu presented to me wasn't a GF menu. Most items on it contained gluten, as per the description. This has left me with a very few options; so I ordered two started and they weren't great either. Between the main course and the desserts, the waiter started to clear the table but didn't complete the job. The desserts arrived separately, some of us had to start before others, as they had ordered sorbets. One dessert had to be returned - not what was ordered. Another dessert was forgotten, we waited and waited then I had to leave the table to remind the manager about it. The bill, as expected, was high but not worth a penny. To add insult to injury, they impose a gratuity of 20% which is again not deserved, at all, during this visit. They have ruined a very special occasion for us. Our daughter and her family had traveled to the UK to celebrate it with us. Raymond Blanc's brasserie in Hammersmith left us so embarrassed with the selection of the place. Too risky to go back again and I no longer recommend it.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, everywhere it was clean and well organised. In terms of food, we ordered Cheese Soufflé, Grilled Squid Salad and Mediterranean Fish Soup. All three were delicious. However, I would not recommend the Moroccan mezze platter, as it was of a tiny portion. Overall, I would still recommend this place!

Newly opened in this yet to be completed establishment called Fulham Reach. It is set up in a very elegantly looking building. It's got by far one one of the best places to watch the exquisite sunset as the sun sets beyond the beautiful Hammersmith bridge and Thames river. You can't do this with and exquisite French dishes or just whilst enjoying a nice drink from the nice bar. I love this place.

A very stylish French restaurant at the riverside, with delicious food and very kind and helpful staff. It's a great place for romantic dinner or for eating out with friends or family. A little bit pricey however the experience still worth it.

A beautiful restaurant with lovely views of the river. The food was delicious and the staff very welcoming. Despite me being very under dressed I was treated like I belonged. The prices are far more reasonable than further into the city like Soho
