Nice and clean on a Saturday night. Efficient service too. Food was piping hot which is a bonus as sometimes you don't always get that at a KFC.
A way better KFC outlet compared to Gloucester Road!!
After my recent experience at Gloucester Road I must say I wasn't expecting much.
But the service was excellent!
The staff actually looked happier and hence customer service is great!
The waiting time was minimal despite the crowd.
I even got my NHS discount which was lovely (turned down at Gloucester Road).
The young lady who served me was ever so polite and professional. Keep up the good work!
Aug2023 update: Service assisting elderly man and son in front of me was incredible. Food not so much, disappointing.
Service always friendly, advice on orders incredible, service time excellent, and food fantastic. Best KFC in London !!!
Better and more consistent than a few years ago. The electronic ordering board, and more professional staff are an improvement. Always clean whenever I've visited.
The restaurant at Clapham Common still has the edges on food quality.
I don't know whether there's new staff but it's the best quality and freshness of food for a couple of years plus nothing was actually missing from the order 😉
This KFC is something else. Elegant and professional staff and the food was fresh and delish.

There seems to be a lot of staff always in that branch but they are always so slow to serve customers and everyone seems to be walking around doing but not actually doing anything. I walked in and there was already a guy waiting to be served while the manager was just floating and not really doing anything. Or nothing that couldn't wait until after the customers have been served. Then when it was time for me to get served I wanted a 6 piece bucket and I was grateful because I asked 4 thighs & 2 legs. I was actually going to ask for 6 thighs but I didn't think he would give it to me so I mixed it up and he said yes straight away that's no problem. I do love this branch because they always have a large amount of chicken ready to go or in the back warmer.
My order was prepared very quickly and I got my big bag and I always like to try 2 chips before I walk out the door but they were warm not hot and knowing that I have to wait for a bus to then travel home with this food I didn't want cold chips.
So I explained to the manager they're warm, he looked at me a bit funny but gladly took the bag away and ask the guy at the back to give me fresh chips. When I got them they were hot and I headed home. I love the fact that KFC as a company have changed the coleslaw. It's now more edible and has Flavour compared to the mayo gloopy substitute all branches used to serve.
Ordered some food went to sit down and dropped my chips as was being clumsy. Lovely staff member told me not to worry as I attempted to grab my chips from my chair and stuff them back in the packet 'without anyone noticing.' They cleaned up the chips and gave me a fresh portion straight away. Very grateful for this
