Nice public square next to St. Paul's Cathedral re-developed in the 2000s. Actually, quite a lot of St. Paul's Cathedral is visible from the square. It's a nice spot with neo-classical features, sympathetic with the nearby look and feel of the cathedral. The buildings around square are a mix of offices and shops and in the square itself, there's two interesting sculptures, the "Paternoster" and "Paternoster Square Column".
Great for people watching with the lovely backdrop of at Paul's. Spot the restaurant from 'first dates'. Deckchairs in the summer with ping pong tables and large board games. Lovely to sit for a while
Nice place for a lunch time walk. Sat next to the iconic St Pauls. There are a vast array of food offerings whether you're looking for a quick bite or a more civilized long meal. The chop House located here is also the seeing for channel 4's first dates show. In the summer months you'll find deck chairs, projectors and ping pong
Square in St Paul’s with a few cafes, bars and shops to cater for city workers and tourists alike. During the week there are food stalls on some days, others there are exhibitions or installations or you can play the table tennis.
A good place for lunch and a bit of afternoon walk.
Great views of St Paul's while shopping, eating and relaxing.
Had a coffee here and sausage sandwich, it was lovely.
Central location with reasonable services nearby a beautiful appearance and a typically relaxed occupancy.
Well maintained.
Never too busy but always serene
Well worth a visit if you want a decent coffee at Paul's and a good view of the house.
Quietest Sundays, despite the obvious.
nice open area, Starbucks and few other restaurants and right next to it.
A lovely square in the heart of the city of London next to St Paul's cathedral. There are places to eat and shop nearby . And nice place to stop for a nice coffee and watch the world go by. It's near to the Cathedral. And just off the main road so you can walk or get a bus. Very nice in the summer when the sun out for a stop off.
Not nuch to say about it really, St.Paul's Cathedral and its surroundings are amazing.
Loving the food trucks in the square. Not sure when all were they there. I went on Tuesday, it was there from 12-3 as I know.
Awesome and such nice variety of food stalls. There is usually a big line in most of the food stalls. Go only there!
Will always go when near to just have food from these stalls.
it's a nice square just next to the cathedral. It's full of restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops and it's very busy on weekdays. There are some street markets here usually as well and basically is an area full of live on weekdays because of all offices around.
Greta sandwices although they've taken some MN of the best ones off the menu. Try the roast beef sandwich it's delicious
Pedestrian only located behind St Pauls cathedral with a great selection of restaurants and bars. In the summer there is a big screen showing Wimbledon and other major sporting events. Lots of places to sit and soak up the atmosphere
A regenerated square which whilst not attractive does have an interesting monument. It was also blissfully peaceful when I was there, midday on a Saturday. A nice place to have a sandwich from the Pret A Manger which is there. All this right next door to St Paul's Cathedral.
A lovely part of London perhaps marred only by a useful, yet so out of place Sainsbury's. Marvellous view of St Paul's and statuary, with Temple Bar restored to the south side. Good restaurants and food outlets on the square and approaches.
