I really loved eating here.
Authentic and green food
Mash in particular was amazing
Hang out here to catch a superb brunch , a energising walk through the greenery and historic knowledge gain
Kenwood is a fantastic place to stroll around and the cafe is on the grounds of the stately home heritage site making it a refreshing change of scenery to have a coffee in the city. They do soups, salads, sandwiches and pastries. In the summer, take an ice cream for a walk around the landscaped gardens.
Brew house's biggest advantage is the place it's located at. Kenwood estate is the one of the prettiest places in North London. (Parts of Notting Hill were also shot here) Away from tourist traps, these greens are just beautiful. And if you are visiting Kenwood house (which is a great museum with plenty of good paintings) combine it with a visit to the Brew.
Their lunch menu is limited, and the food is just average. You can choose from sandwiches, soups and sausages.
Although what I really love at this cafe is their coffees and cakes. They make the perfect mocha and I loved their pineapple upside down cake and also spicy carrot cake. Absolutely delicious.
All in all, Brew House very well makes up for the average food with the gorgeous setting it is located at.
Please note, the Kenwood house is closed for renovations until Autumn 2013, but the Brew is open.
It's a good option for a quick bit and a cup of coffee. There are plenty of outdoor seatings and you can enjoy nature and clean air.
Staff is friendly
Jolly nice cafe with great coffee and eats, at a price! Lovely outdoor seating good in all weathers! Don’t see the point of the expense (because you pay for it) compostable cups/plates if there are no facilities for composting 🤷♂️
The Brew House Cafe, near Kenwood House in the beautiful Hampstead Heath park, should be on your itinerary when you are walking in the area or just meeting some friends for breakfast or lunch.
Prices are a little bit over the medium, but you can choose from a good range of meals. Even with the Covid situation was busy. We enjoyed our hot drinks and the cakes on outside area, a nice and charming garden/ terrace.
Only 4 stars from 5, because of the annoying wasps flying around the tables. The manager should take care of this problem, I would suggest traps with fruit juice or with pheromones.
Let me start off by saying the food is absolutely excellent, however £23 for food for 3 people is absolutely ludicrous and practically illegal and insulting. My child even exclaimed “£23!?” and he is only 5. Please fix these prices and I will consider coming back again.
A good Sunday Roast, although you may have to stand in the queue for a while. Lots of baked treats available, and kid's lunches.
Just a lovely place inside and out and a great selection of food sandwiches wraps salad bowls & yummy cakes all reasonably priced the garden area delightful go you won't be disappointed
I love to have here a coffee break. Lovely sandwiches, great cream tea. Garden is amazing! I wish to come back soon.
The cafe works well during this short period of 'outdoors-only' eating. You can take the food into the garden, or onto the benches outside and admire the lake.
Nice tea break after a great walk on the Heath, enjoyable afternoons to remember
A lovely historic garden cafe dating back to the glorious 1760s, perfect location for a contemplatory, unrushed cup of coffee in the classic Georgian setting.
Can't go wrong with your choice, be that a double espresso or cappuccino, as the blend they use is strong and well balanced and the baristas know what they are doing!
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Come here early in the morning to enjoy the silence and movie like scenery. 5 stars for the location and the beautiful setting, the park. It is for sure a place and food to enjoy very early in the morning; otherwise the appeal diminishes, since I notice reviews are not high and the food must be just ok-good. You won't starve either; many-many options. As I only had a yogurt, I can't review the food.
Lovely garden area! Affordable food as well. Definitely one of my go to place when I want scones!
