I enjoyed a very good half naga chicken with chips accompanied with a high-quality craft beer for a little over a tenner. Quiet on my visit to this pub on a cool Tuesday night, unlike some of the other spoons near Holborn.

Situated close the Highbury corner and set back, you'll find a large fronted JD Wetherspoons called The White Swan. Resembling something of a reclaimed cinema. It is, in my view, a beacon of honest food hope. Surrounded in the near vicinity with either artesian £££ or cardboard fast food restaurants. Although not as cheap as it used to be, the Swan offers food at a price without losing your shirt. Good breakfast and lunch. If you are working in the area, look no further else. You may end up paying £5 for a small sausage roll or £8+ for fast food that has no taste and leaves you hungry after 10 minutes.

A very busy pub. Tried to order on the app managed most of it but would not accept the wine so had to go to the bar and order in the old fashioned way. Wife had 8oz Sirloin, should have been medium rare, but came more well done than rare. Curry was meaty and hot. Good service. I was a little embarrassed when I couldn’t get the lid off the wine, young lady waitress made me look feeble, opened it straight away. A fantastic repurposed building yet again with lots of historical information, very interesting. Was worth the 2 mile walk from Hackney

You should be aware that wetherspoon is not a fancy pub, but i actually think it's better than its reputation - you can order easily through the app, the service is fast and friendly, and the food good. And the prices of courses unbeatable. They even offer a decent amount of plantbased / vegan food options, really good.

One of the better 'spoons. It wasn't too busy on the day that I visited, but I have been here before when it was uncomfortable. The choice of Real Ales on the day was not spectacular, which is unusual for the venue. Overall, I would recommend this bar.

Ordered the large breakfast with 2 slices of toast. It came pretty quickly and was delicious. The only thing is, the beans could've been a little hotter but it all filled a spot nonetheless. Server was very enthusiastic and outgoing. Great service and would come again

Good prices at bar and with food menu. Has cubicles which endear to more quiet discussions. Plenty of room including an upstairs. Worth a visit or two.

After 4 years we returned to the White Swan for a meal. I doubt that we will ever come back. Food was unpleasant. Staff not very helpful. Not a very good Weatherspoon. My friend said to add that it is a very depressing place .

Large Weatherspoons brightly lit and spacious. Good selection round drink and food selection Certainly one of the favourites. Staff could be more friendly with proper eye contact though.

Visited for drinks on Thursday evening. Busy with nice atmosphere. Gents toilets best we have come across in a Wetherspoons. Will return.

Very good customer service and the bar person was funny, nice. His name was Conner and he looks Mediterranean. He knows Maria Michael's and is good company while he works.!!
