We have enjoyed food from Momed regularly over the last year. Their understanding of Middle Eastern flavours and the quality of the food off of the grill is exemplary. There are also lots of good quality side dishes that help make Momed a great addition to the neighbourhood.

When people say 'this is a great food' or 'it's reasonably priced' and use words such as 'nice', 'amazing', 'delicious' and 'love' to describe their experience; they're entirely correct. I discovered Momed Grill today and was under the impression that the eatery had only just opened! My first review on 'Trip Advisor' is a testament to this. The fact that, the restaurant review you're currently reading is only the second review I've ever authored, emphasises this fact further still. This establishment deserves our recognition. I was flabbergasted by the quality of produce and preparedness of dishes at Momed Grill. I paid £6.50 for a large chicken burger and fries. I purposefully use this generic description, and quote, because it represents a menu item and price that one can find in any chicken shop up and down East London. The difference between the standards of Momed and any fast food outlet is the equivalent to the differences between night and day. When I saw the words 'all food is freshly prepared daily', modestly printed on the front of their menu, I was, of course, slightly sceptical. By the time I had devoured my meal, all trace of this scepticism had vanished. The burger, I ordered, was made up of a genuinely fresh chicken fillet. There was no sign of breadcrumbs or batter and it took 7 minutes, or so, to grill with regular temperature checks. This delightful piece of poultry was garnished with fresh coleslaw and a mild spicy sauce; and placed between a fresh, ever so slightly toasted bun, the size of which encased it perfectly. My food was made with love and, as if this unexpected outing at Momed was always going to take my eating experience to the next level, I found that the French fries I ordered (as a side for a negligible £1.50) were, in fact, prepared to order. So that's fries, freshly seasoned on sight, and cut and cooked to order, providing a taste that is the very pinnacle of consuming potatoe based dishes, (I include home made roast potatoes as part of this life long comparison) The Momed grill provides fresh, healthy and delicious food at fast food prices. It deserves our patronage and recognition. It's easy to miss and is in a modest location however, dont allow these factors to mean that you, or your children, miss out on the opportunity to consume high quality dishes made with fresh ingredients for affordable prices I will see you tomorrow for lunch 'Momed Grill'; you're Leytonstones' most recent culinary gem. Congratulations.
