A Local Favourite. This place has been around for years, and is a great favourite with Woolwich locals. It lives up to its name. I always go for the prawns with ginger and garlic. The prawns themselves are fabulous big plump juicy things. The lemon chicken is also brilliant. The sauce is tangy and (somewhat alarmingly) bright yellow. Deliciousness itself! It's a great place for eating in, especially on a dark wintry night, or for taking out. The people are lovely, too.
I love favourite in its awsome and there rice is very good when cooked well done and their squid is absolutely amazing and the prices are reasonably good id give the 100 percent
I really enjoyed my experience eating here. I paid 12 for one person, which is a bit overpriced but it was Sunday evening and I ordered spring rolls, chicken with chilli and scallions, and egg fried rice. They didn't give me tap water when I sat down; I had to ask for tap water and they gave me a small glass and didn't check on me to see if I wanted more after that. The food was brought out quite fast, which obviously says it isn't fresh, so I wonder how long it's been in their fridges. There's a serious funky smell inside the restaurant, it's stuffy, like they need to open up a window or something to let in fresh air. All in all, it might seem my review doesn't correspond to my 4 stars but the food was really delicious. It was just what I needed this evening, and they came through. I know they have better deals for lunch, and I'll probably stick to those next time i go back. I don't think I'll be dining in again. The servers are sweet, but could stand to pay more attention to their customers a bit more.
First time I've actually made the effort to review a company online. I have ate from lots of Chinese restaurants but the food here is really something else.
Any complaints? None!
Any Recommendations? - I'm a halal eater so if you started catering for Halal eaters I think it would drum up a LOT more business, we can only eat here once a month because we can't eat any of the meat dishes so not much variety for us in that sense.
The food is always hot, perfectly cooked and delivery is always on time. For me the best part is the satay mushrooms, their satay sauce is seriously amazing.
Haven't ate from any other chinese place since finding you guys :)
This is the best Chinese I've had (in the immediate area). 4/5 stars because I've had much better outside Woolwich. The other nearby places compete on price, this place competes on quality. The prices are not bad though maybe £1 or £2 more than nearby but worth it.
If you are in Woolwich go here. If you have time then go to central London.
Probably best place where you can find tasty food in woolwich. a bit expensive if you stay in restaurant, but good prises if you buy take away. I would really recommend to try tom yam soup and lemon chiken.
Wonderful food and excellent service. I love this place. I'm surprised it's not packed all the time. A true gem in Woolwich.
The food is great whether you eat in or takeaway but takeaway takes awhile to deliver if you are more than 3 miles away. Up to 45 minutes in places.
Their food is so fresh... I don't think twice about buying from them. Though sometimes the delivery take too long.
The best Chinese in Woolwich by far, been using them for 8 years and never had a problem.
Small and friendly. Excellent food and service. Would recommend a visit if your in the area.
Nice decor, good friendly service, great soft shelled crabs
