Rakkas just wins. The coffee is superb, the breakfasts are tasty and the interior decor is so mad it works. Who doesn't like eating a hungover omelette in a cave?! This is the ultimate breakfast experience. I've tried a lot of the menu here and what's great if you're not feeling adventurous there's plenty of standard stuff here or if you want the Turkish experience you can go wild. Of the things I've tried I fell head over heels for the halloumi & olive omelette (with wedges & salad). Sujuklu Menemen was another award winner for me with that spicy Turkish sausage and scrambled eggs mingling in my mouth. The full Turkish experience I mentioned 30 seconds ago is also known as the Wan Breakfast. Enough to feed you for the day, it comes with 3 types of cheese, honey, clotted cream, eggs, fresh cucumber & tomato, bread, tahini, tapenade, butter and more... (seriously there is more, I just can't recall it all). Washed down with a cup of the good stuff (Turkish tea) you'll be smiling inside & out.

I'm a big fan of the Turkish breakfast item called Menemen (tomatoes, scrambled eggs, peppers and onion) and they do this beautifully here. But that's not the only thing that's noteworthy about this place - I really enjoyed the Wan breakfast, which consists of various cheeses, spreads, sweet condiments, fried egg and plenty of warm pita bread. In fact, my friend - with whom I came to this place - had originally come to this place because he saw on their menu that they serve this special breakfast and apparently it's not easy to find it here in London. (He's Turkish by origin and always on the lookout for things that remind him of home.) Insider tips for eating the Wan breakfast: - generously spread the white/soft cheese (upper right bowl on my picture) on some pita bread and top it of with honey...heavenly! - put a slice of the feta cheese (lower right bowl on my image) on a piece of bread and top it off with a slice of tomato; - I liked to combine the olive mash (mid-left bowl) with the crumbled cheese (upper left); - dip your bread in tahini and pekmez and just enjoy; Also, I highly recommend coming here with at least two people and then order one Wan breakfast and one Menemen...that, combined with loads of cups of tea, will leep you busy for a while! Although, I haven't tried their lunch or dinner menu, I trust that it's equally good too.

We had a quick bite as we did not want a heavy lunch. We had the hot and cold platter which was perfect. Hummus, falafel and pita was very good. Good portion for 4 people

I'd been wanting to find out what this restaurant/bar/shisha lounge was like to visit ever since it appeared earlier in the year, mostly as I was intrigued by the decor: the building has been done up to an impressive standard, with fresco-style paintings on the wall, lots of wood cladding and a very grand-looking sign. It's all a tiny bit kitsch, but definitely in a good way. On our visit this weekend, the staff were immediately inviting and friendly, quite happy for us to come in just for drinks and a snack if we wanted. As we'd come in late on a Friday night after dinner, we were mostly keen to try out the massive shisha garden at the back which really has to be seen to be believed! it feels a bit like stepping in to a grotto, with rock-style cladding all around and a huge water feature at the end. The 'shisha man' soon came over and attended to our needsit has a late licence till 2am on weekend days, and plenty of people were clearly settled in for the evening, playing chess and enjoying a beer or two! We decided to sample a bit of the food as well which was really tasty, fresh and excellent value for money. I'd recommend the Imam Bayaldi in particular! Slightly better vegetarian selection than other Turkish places I've visited too. There was live music all through the evening, which certainly added to the atmosphere! All in all, a great experience.

“We chose Rakkas to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday, and it was a memorable experience. Despite arriving early, we were seated promptly. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Manuela, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Their attentiveness added an extra touch to the celebration. We highly recommend Rakkas for any special occasion.”

It was my first time at Rakkas today and I really enjoyed my experience. I was satisfied with the service provided. From the menu I ordered Calamari, Adana, Chili Prawns and mixed grill, it was good portions and very tasty. I also had shisha which was good. Great atmosphere and music too. They also had a fire show which was awesome. Great entertainment. Definitely recommended.

This is literally the best Turkish breakfast I’ve had in London and I’ve had a few . Everything was fresh and prepared there and then for you . The place was so aesthetically pleasing , inside the main eating area and also the lounge. The staff were really accommodating and very polite. Can’t wait to come back I want to eat it all again .

I went to Rakkas for the first time as part of a large group celebrating a birthday. The staff were really friendly and very attentive, when it came to the service. They really went the extra mile in making sure the Birthday I was there celebrating went as smoothly as possible with bringing out the cake and providing dry ice smoke. The waitress that served me provided lots of good options for drinks as I was unsure what to go with and food arrived very quickly after ordering. The food was nice and very filling - I had no complaints 👌🏾

Honestly I only took videos of the food but I definitely would recommend this restaurant without a doubt! From the minute I stepped through the doors the service was amazing and quick! Food was really good I have given it a 4/5 simply because I just didn’t try a variety of meals. Entertainment was great with dancers and fire dancers coming out. The birthday service was epic which kept the atmosphere also at an all time high. I didn’t get to try the shisha section but the lady took me in there and well I’ll be going back there for sure!

My first time at Rakkas today (lounge) and it was amazing! Beautiful place way better in person than I imagined. Ambience and music was amazing. The female host at the entrance sooo friendly and sweet. Excellent service! In fact incredible service from Ismel, which I hope I spelt correctly. Ismel was so amazing super friendly and just overall great service. It’s Halloween themed and they had a magician come to our table which was fantastic and do fun loved it. The food was well seasoned and tasty. Fast service and so organised. Thank you for a lovely evening just wished you stayed open later because we were having a great time :)

Want to say big thank you, for a great evening. Everything was lovely and professional. We came with no booking in Saturday night, and lovely host Alina, welcomed us with sweet smile and help us to find a table for dinner in an incredible short time. At the table for us was waiting one more amazing lady from Bulgaria, probably her name was Lina, very good assisted with menu and a bit about restaurant. Had an amazing evening, all thanks to the girls. ❤️

Amazing place to chill, dine, relax, and be yourself!!! We were a group of 11 with 3 birthdays, service and attention to detail was on point. Not to mention the 2 chocolate birthday cakes we were given, on top of the red velvet slice for the birthday girls!!! Shisha was lovely, food was tasty, (although I can't recommend the tomato pasta (slightly dry and just hot (chilli's)!) Other than that, we ordered nearly everything, and was amazing! Thank you to all the staff who served us and allowed us to sit tight to the very very end!!!
