One of the best value for money poke bowls in Londonš„¢.
You can be your own or pick one of the classics.
There are a lot of options: tuna, chicken teriyaki, tofu, salmon in yuzu, miso aurbegines.
Prices around Ā£8-Ā£11.
Outside tables, but please be aware there are limited spaces.
Very speedy service and a large array of proteins, greens and toppings. The lunch time queue moved very quickly, and the service inside is friendly and efficient. I had a look at the online menu beforehand, but this is different to the menu board in the restaurant which I wasnāt expecting and so I had to quickly change and do one of the ābuild your own Poke bowlā which worked out well, and was Ā£9.45 for a regular bowl with salmon. The price is based on the protein you choose, and I think the greens and toppings are unlimited.
I opted for sushi rice with marinated salmon, Yuzu dressing, Goma wakame seaweed, pickled carrot, pickled ginger, edamame, red cabbage, topped with crispy shallots, sesame seeds, and spring onion which I really enjoyed.
Though tasty, I think itās a little expensive, and Iāve had better - and larger - sushi bowls in London for Ā£8.
Delicious healthy food; so many topics; pretty reasonable price for quality food in central London.
Staff are nice but a little rushy, even though I was the only customer in store. Decently helpful staff also.
You can swap out toppings if you donāt like something on their pre-made bowls. If you swap out a non-premium topping you canāt pick the avocado or aubergine or salmon/tuna.
The seating here is pretty bad. Inside, you have small counter style seats, but they have really flimsy unstable swings for you to sit on. They look cool, are fun, but if you want to sit and work while you eat, itās near impossible. Also kind of hard to bend your arms and eat and work with the swings in the way. Not practical.
There are two indoor counter chairs that are normal. Thereās normal outdoor seating too.
You can add as many sauces as you like at the counter, like itsu. They have teriyaki, sriracha (original), sriracha Mayo, wasabi Mayo, and light soy sauce- theyāre all house sauces it seems.
Food was nice! I tried the Korean bbq bao. It wasnāt big but the portion was enough.
Eating out doesnāt mean u hv to sacrifice ur health! š The colourful Poke bowl w/ rice topped w/ diced raw fish & fresh veggies or fruits is all you need for a meal! š¤
Staff said these 2 are the best sellers!! So we go for it!! š
1ļøā£Classic Ahi Tuna (Ā£8.45)
Served w/ ahi tuna, shout dressing, pineapple chilli salsa, wakame seaweed & sesame seeds.
2ļøā£Yuzu Lomi Lomi Salmon (Ā£8.45)
Salmon, yuzu dressing, mango mint salsa, edamame & sesame seeds.
Both bowls includes lots of toppings. Portion is large which is more than enough for girls.š I like the crispy onion & sesames which bring more texture & aroma to the poke!! šš»š
āFeel free to tailor made yr own poke bowl w/ teriyaki, siracha, fresh green siracha, siracha mayo, wasabi mayo and/or light soy sauce at the dressing corner. š¤©
Very tasty and a suitably filling experience. However, I feel the portion control on the rice is a little off, a lot more than "1 serving" of rice, its up to you on whether this is a positive or a negative :D
The service is always so good! And the food as well! Love going there. Special compliment to Lidia!!
One of my go-to places for tasty poke bowls and fresh ingredients - I always go for their build-your-own poke bowls as I love the fully customisable options and unlimited toppings too.
Pictured here are:
- Ahi tuna tossed in shoyu sauce on a bed of leafy greens and brown rice, topped with wakame seaweed, edamame, red cabbage, pickled cucumber and miso aubergine.
- Rare bavette steak in chimichurri sauce, with mango mint salsa, ginger pickled carrot, edamame, red cabbage, topped with crispy shallots, toasted buckwheat and nori.
Seating is quite limited inside, but service was very fast. Overall, I had a great experience and I'd come back again!
I absolutely love their new poke bao buns! Theyāre so generous with their fillings, and they taste so yummy!
Had the Miso Aubergine (cheapest one at something like Ā£5.80) and it was absolutely delicious. At a price you canāt be too mad about for this area of london. However I was a bit annoyed about the fairly significant extra charge if you wanted to eat in- wouldāve been an easy 5 stars otherwise.
Weāve went to Islandpoke Wimbledon store today for lunch . Actually that was our first time .There were so many options . Very healthy food and fresh. Staffs were very friendly and calm . And very fast service as well .store was ver clean . We enjoyed well . It was a great experience . Iāll recommend 100%šššš.
Best pokes in town with the sweetest servers. The fish is really fresh and they have so many topping options!
When having time to eat in take their swing seats, something different than just a chair!
