Stopped here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Reasonable number of tables available and we didn't have to queue.
Pizzas were freshly cooked and tasty. Service time was good and there was a good choice of pizzas (which is really the only option on the menu). Reasonably priced for this area of King's Cross.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Great place to go to for a meal. Lady who served us was friendly and very efficient. Drinks were extra cold and refreshing. The food arrived extra quick. We had pizzas which were absolutely delicious. Nice relaxed atmosphere so we didn't feel rushed to finish our food. Will definitely go again.
Honestly one of the best pizza places that I have been in London for a long time.
Great restaurant layout and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Food was delicious and we clearly over ordered with two chips, buratta and additional bread.
Good cocktails and beer. Well worth a visit.
Takes American Express.
It was my first time here and I just had to leave a 5 star for the lovely heart-shaped pizzas my friend and I received! It’s a the little things ya know… Although we got takeaway the ambience inside seemed really nice for a lunchtime meal in the sun. We got a Margherita pizza and a N’duja and Burrata one - not the best I’ve ever had but still tasty!
Great pizza. REAL pizza!! Also have a good kids menu. 4 stars rather than 5 because the wine options weren't the best and it wasn't exactly what you'd call a "heavy pour", quite the opposite in fact!
One of the best pizzas I had so far. Sweet pot of tea, in a red cup matching the color of the tomato sauce. The staff was great (Vivian and a sweet boy served me). After all I indeed had a happy face. The prices are OK, the atmosphere was cozy even though I was sitting at the bar and the food/drink was delivered quiet quickly. I will come back!!❤️🍕
1st time at Happy Face. Pretty laid back atmosphere albeit for the "you can have a table for one hour only" welcome...
Pizza are huge, proper Napoleatan dough and tasty. The San Bernardino, white base with artichokes and anchovies was 💯💯💯. Too full to try any dessert.
We tried to eat at a nearby premise first but couldn’t because they wouldn’t serve in their empty terrace and we had 2 small dogs with us so we couldn’t go in either. Went to Happy Face and were expecting to sit on their terrace but were happily welcomed into the restaurant at the front desk by a guy (missed the name, sorry☹️) , with our dogs, with open arms. Had two excellent, freshly made pizzas, with an acceptable wait time ie not fast, nor slow and served by the excellent Ruby who had the face that matched the place😀 Thoroughly recommend and the dogs approve too😉
The pizzas are great authentic, roman based Italian pizzas at a reasonable price.
Decor inside is like a factory and I wasn't the biggest fan.
Only reason I didn't give 5 was because the front of house member of staff was unhospitable and said they had no tables at 5:30pm even though the restaurant was completely empty. Then after doing a search said we could sit but only for 1hr and 5mins, which I found slightly rude as he kept repeating it throughout the night.
But other servers were nice and responsive.
A great location in the summer to grab a takeaway and sit by the canal. We ordered the fungi and vegan pepperoni and would recommend the later. First time trying vegan cheese and wasn't too shabby at all
We tried the store at a very trying tome. After traveling for more than 15 hours to reach London, we wanted to eat at a place closer to our residence with a quick service. Happy Face was almost the next door to Fenman house. Hence we just walked in without checking any review and anything. But it turned out to be such a blessed decision. Great place with amazing food and extremely friendly staff. We ordered a patata pizza with mushrooms, bacon and potato. Yummy yummy yummy. With some fries and a lager. Fresh food available in just 5-10 min. Pocket friendly and generous in portion. People around, please do try.
Really enjoyed the food, nice authentic wood oven pizza's. The staff was also really helpful. I was there with my wife and 10 month old, they had enough high chairs for babies. Would definitely go here again .
Is there a more friendly welcome in London? Vivi's smile was so welcoming and welcome after a long, long train trip back from Amsterdam with teens (top tip, get the Eurostar direct don't change!) Vivi really looked after me and my family, from finding us the best seating with big bags to showering us with water (it was hot...) and providing us with the best service; she made me feel that she was genuinely pleased to see us. The pizza was authentic and excellent. What a find in heart of London.
I recently had a wonderful dining experience at Happy Faces Pizza. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were flavorful, and the overall quality was outstanding. Happy Faces Pizza truly knows how to create a memorable dining experience.
Highly recommended!
Happy face and happy belly.
I found this place by accident and I choose to try it. I went with a friend and we ordered 2 pizzas Margherita plus a tiramisu at the end and they tasted DELICIOUS.
I would say they do authentic Italian pizza!
The place is really cozy and the staff is beyond kind.
Special thank’s to Vivi who served us and with whom we had a nice chat after our tiramisu!
Thank you and I will certainly come back and bring other people with me or at least recommend it to my family and friends! x
Well worth a visit, good service, reasonable prices. Pizza very good, but sauce leant too heavily on the salt.
I was impressed! Pizza was surprisingly good, great Neapolitan style dough, good quality ingredients and hip venue.
Service was a bit slow, so bear that in mind if you're looking for a pre-cinema eat.
