My sisters and I felt like pizza for dinner because Pizza Express sent them a two for £10 pizza offer (who wouldn’t feel like pizza with such a deal??)

So we went to our local and were accommodated in good timing. We ordered four pizzas out of greediness. The pizzas were as follows: Veneziana, Margherita, Pollo ad Astra and Sloppy Giuseppe.

The pizzas arrived in about 15 minutes which honestly felt like a lifetime. But when they came, all was well. We asked for chilli oil and drizzled that bad boy on the pizzas. I had the Veneziana and the pine kernal/ baby caper combination was amazing. I requested for the sultanas to be removed because I am not a fan. All our pizzas were ordered with a classic base.

As we could not finish our pizzas, we took the remaining as take-away. Lesson learnt, try not to order too much food when hungry! The service at Curtain Road was great and would definitely go back.

Good food and a nice atmosphere! The food was enjoyable and the highlights were the mussels, potatoes and pasta! The waiters were really nice and did a great walk through of the menu as well as offering suggestions for dietary restrictions. We were waiting for our pasta dish for at least 20 minutes so service can suffer if they're very busy.

Trendy (and busy) restaurant in my favorite area in London. Modern Italian cooking with clean and distinct flavors. Good price-quality ratio. Nevertheless I wouldn’t rush to go back, as nothing in our meal really stood out flavor-wise. But still it’s a good restaurant. Period.

While we had the most incredible dining experience the other night here; the atmosphere did not match the standards. The place was loud and there was nearly no space to put your things. Nonetheless the servers were incredibly nice and the food was delicious, so I would definitely return for that in itself!

Delicious Italian fare in a buzzy cool spot! Love the nose to tail ethos and how much of the menu offering is house made. Great wine list and wonderful service. Only drawback is how extremely loud the space is- needs some acoustic help!

We sat at the counter and had the most delightful experience. The bar tenders/servers were attentive and knowledgeable. They gave great recommendations. The place does shareable style. We got two starters to share, two pastas, and one main and a side. It was some of the most delicious food I had my entire stay in London. The restaurant felt both large and small at the same time giving it a lively vibe while feel intimate. 100% recommend and will go again

Exceptional food! The pasta was to die for (we ordered three pasta dishes between the two of us) and also loved the raw beef and sea bass crudo. If you have room for dessert definitely recommend the chocolate cream bun. We did order the olives and didn't receive them but still deserves five stars.

We came late without reservation and were treated to great food, good atmosphere, and love the traditional flavours introduced. Staff was helpful and quick to assist. There is plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. Would def recommend it to friends. Narrow spaces, so not pram or kid friendly.

I loved everything about this restaurant. It is bright, spacious, and comfortable. The service is impeccable. The food is incredible. The spicy vodka pasta in particular reminded me of Carbone in the US. My husband and I also tried (and loved) the ricotta, focaccia, crudo, and ziti. We were able to get a same day reservation by opting for “linner” at 3 pm.

Absolutely fantastic. The best pasta in London. We were extremely lucky to get a table: usually they’re fully booked for dinner days/weeks in advance. A special thanks to the waitress who made this possible. We started off with stracciatella with abricot and hazelnuts, and the pig head fritti. The soft cheese mixed with the fruits and roasted hazelnuts worked beautifully. But the pig head fritti was even better: the meat was so succulent and melted in your mouth. For pasta we tried the duck ragu and the crab cacio e pepe. We also had the pigeon as a main. The pigeon was delicious and the cacio e pepe was nice (though we couldn’t taste the crab, only lemon), but the star of our meal was the duck ragu. Thick ribbons of pasta in a deep meaty ragu with pieces of tender confit duck, topped with crispy duck fat breadcrumbs and aged parmesan. It was so incredible we ordered a second portion! For dessert we took limoncello and a delicious grappa digestif infused with thyme. We also tried the beef fat fudge. A very nice finish to a wonderful meal. Can’t recommend Manteca enough: it really was amazing.

It was a great Italian diner, very chill, bustling and something different. Open concept and open kitchen: if you sit at the counter, you can see how the chefs prepare the food—excellent customer service with suggestions and an introduction to the menu.

This was a superb dinner in Shoreditch! I had a late reservation around 9pm and was seated at the chef’s counter immediately upon arrival. I really enjoyed eating there and getting to chat with the team of chefs, especially head chef Jake. It’s very clear the amount of thought and effort they put into every dish. The whole team was really kind and helpful in guiding me on what I should eat. It all sounded so good! One flavor was more interesting than the next. I love the concept of using every aspect of the animal from head to tail. I can’t wait for my next visit!

We ordered a mixture of pasta and protein, which were all executed nicely. The flavours were clean yet complex. You can tell that the ingredients are considered carefully as they compliment each other. The only criticism I have is the price, as the portion sizes are quite small given the price tag. Between the two of us, we ordered 5 dishes and 2 drinks, but neither of us felt full after the meal.

This is without doubt the best Italian restaurant outside of Italy itself. The food is superb, in particular the Ragu, and cooked to perfection. Great selection of wines all in a laid back chilled out vibe. Staff are attentive and friendly. I shouldn't really share this as you all going to want to go
