Excellent service, delicious food and huge portions. The mixed meat rice is great and can feed 4 people. The steamed sweet corn is interesting, first time tried this and we liked it.
Was here for dinner since as l enjoyed the food l previously ordered on delivery. The restaurant has a casual, relaxed and cosy feel. As it was a Monday, it was quiet with a few tables outside and inside.
We ordered: chicken tamal, it’s similar to Mexican tamales which l love. Other dishes we had were, plantain and Equadorian cheese, fish stew and grilled tilapia. They were all delicious. The grill tilapia was actually bland. We asked the rice to be replaced with extra cassava and they were very accommodating. The waitress was friendly, didn’t speak much English but we managed to get by.
Overall, a lovely meal.
They also do lunch deals 😁
This is a hidden gem and never thought there is an authentic Ecuadorian restaurant around London area. I am quite surprised with the selection food here. It does associate with some Spanish influence which I think could be because not many people are aware of Ecuador food and to include Spanish to give a bit variety selection of food. Restaurant felt really local, lots people speaking Spanish. Could tell probably local Ecuadorian go there for food. They do really good stew soup for sure could see people ordering a bowl of it. Very good for cold winter!
Mixed grill and the seafood mix are some of the most ordered dishes. Overall, great restaurant and highly recommend to others. Loving the interior of the restaurant as well! Colourful and lively!
I only had a humita here, but it was truly excellent. Such a simple thing, but when made well has a unique texture and flavor. The cup of green tea was also quite generous. The wait staff, however, seemed somewhat indifferent.
Fabulous, food and cocktails! Fresh, honest, well cooked,
and presented, They have nailed it. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The chef can even dance 🕺 will definitely frequent again soon 👌🙌
The Chicharron was a highlight for me and my family. So great to find excellent ecuadorian food in London - we can’t wait to return. The empanadas were also delicious and the plateno was cooked to perfection and so ripe
Incredible Ecuadorean food! Staff are lovely and have good recommendations. I have had everything on the menu and it’s all amazing, the sea food platter for two is a highlight for me. And the special Easter dishes!
We had weekend lunch here. Service was friendly and very fast! Our mains arrived before we’d even finished our starters. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and portions were generous. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced too. Recommended.
The staff are so friendly and helpful to assist you. The food comes in huge portion! Try the coconut milk seafood, it's delicious. Also the milkshakes are healthy and taste fresh.
Really delicious flavours at cheap prices with huge portions that you never see in London. I had a hearty dinner & drink for only £9! If you've got a large appetite like myself... Highly recommended.
I chose a fish soup (big as my head and had a kind of purple potato I think inside), followed by a steak dish with rice, salad, and beans.
A server brought over a salsa-like hot sauce with little pink onions, and it was delicious and much spicier than I expected. I'm a huge spice lover!
Excellent quality food, delicious subtle flavours and generous portions. The staff were friendly and attentive. Loved the live music! Great first experience of Ecuadorian food. Will definitely go back to try more things.
We went for dinner deal, soup + main course + drink for £12. It was a very generous portion, beef soup was a main course by itself! Very tasty. Grilled beef was nice and I loved the plantain. Staff were friendly however took some time to get our bill and hard to get their attention to ask for something. Nice experience overall.
This is the second time visiting Mikos Ecuadorian restaurant. I find the food, very tasty. The staff are very on the Ball. Didn’t have to wait long for a meal, yet the restaurant was quite busy. Also even while we were eating , queues were still forming on a late Sunday afternoon/evening. I had the mixed grill for two £35 plus drinks. Well enjoyed by. Everyone will be calling again soon.
Delicious home-style South American food , generous portions, friendly service.. something to please everyone; looking forward to coming back to try even more
The food is amazing, and the portion is huge. I think the negative reviews don't do them justice, I always have a positive experience at Miko. I highly recommend the dinner and lunch menu, very good value.
