Simple but delicious burgers. I had the Dirty Cop Out and the field mushroom was cooked perfectly - juicy and tender. The only difficulty we had was getting in: the door requires a hard tug to open.

Just requested a basic burger....bread, meat and nothing else. Had some fries and a ginger beer along with it as well. When it first came out I was a little surprised as to how small it all was £11 felt a bit steep! To be fair the burger tasted great, perhaps should have gone for more toppings or just gone for their standard selections but even with nothing on it was juicy and flavoursome...only wish it was bigger as I could have easily downed two!

It was like Disney land in my mouth.
Brilliant patties, deep and juicy.
I'm not sure what kind of beef they use, but it was superb.
Great presentation and concept, fantastic dining experience.

As I entered, I felt transported back to some dodgy little place in Mexico that was hiding at the back of my memory logs, the dust well set on the archive. I half-expected casual amount of vom on the floor, as well as a retired mariachi player drunk in the corner, hiccupping a ballad every now and then.

Very nice burger for sure. The price is really good too comparing with other burger place. This photo shows the bacon burger. Fantastic. Definitely the best burger place I have ever been.

Dirty Burger in Bethnal Green / Shoreditch High Street opened just over a couple of weeks ago. We wanted a quick bite to eat and happened to be walking on Shoreditch High Street when we spotted Dirty Burger.  This Dirty Burger in Shoreditch is the fourth location in London. Dirty Burger offers a limited menu – a Cheese burger, a Dirty bacon and a Dirty Cop-out i.e., vegetarian.  There are a few sides although we did not get any.  Water / juice is self-service from the refrigerator (hard to find!).  This location of Dirty Burger can seat about 12 people, yet most of the crowd seems to arrive for take-out. The Dirty Bacon was apparently very light and delicious.  I was particularly thrilled with the Dirty Cop-out .  The portobello mushrooom (in the Dirty Cop-out) was well-made and the mayonnaise -mustard combination on the arugula was delicious! Nothing extra was needed. Dirty Burger is open late (until 1.30 AM) and is open for brunch.  The only downside to Dirty Burger in Shoreditch is that there is no rest room.

I’ve been good for this beginning of the year, cooking more of meals at home. Yet, one week of eating salads and vegetables I was craving a darn dirty burger. After my haircut at Jones and Paynes I headed up to Bethnal Green road. Dirty Burger is part of the major league Soho House Group. With hotels and Houses all over the world with membership only to enter, cinemas, beauty and grooming, an empire with restaurants. I always wanted to party it up Shoreditch House outdoor rooftop pool. Dirty Burger Shoreditch is near Pizza East also owned by Shoreditch House, Lyles and Boxpark.

It may look like some scruffy old hole in the wall, but that’s the concept. Specialising in burgers three are available, a Cheese Burger, Dirty Bacon and dirty Cop-out. In the mornings you be happy to know you can get bacon & egg, and sausage & egg rolls with bottomless tea or coffee before 11am.

Unwrapping my burger, revealed a soft cushion bun that fit into my hands perfectly. A patty with juices flowing out, and soft molten cheddar, large lettuce leaf and garnished with tomato, gherkins and special mayonnaise. It was arguably a pretty good tasting burger

Opting for the Cheese Burger and crinkle cut fries, and a can of soft drink, I waited for my order. There’s limited seating and most people just pop in and out of the place. My order came in a plastic tray, a big bag of crinkle cut chips overflowing out to the tray. My burger wrapped in Dirty Burger branded greaseproof paper.

Best burgers in London!

You can't beat Dirty Burger for a delicious burger and fries and this Shoreditch branch is equally as good. There is limited seating so go when it's quiet if you want to sit in, I recommend a Monday afternoon. Make sure you order the onion fries they cannot be missed! Only half a point off as they have Coke cans instead of bottles like they have at the Kentish Town branch ?

Good cheeseburger for about 6/7quid and fresh orange juice 2quid I thought it was reasonable. The place a bit small and can get busy I ended up eating whilst standing as it was packed which I didn't mind as I was after a quick bite but dont go there if you are expecting a seat down diner. System works on a number on your ticket and wait isnt long. The burger was perfect just the way I like it. A place I would definitely be visiting again

Let me tell you a little food fairytale.

Once upon a time, there was a little burger shop in the North London area of Kentish Town which was getting a big reputation for cooking up some amazing burgers. At a time of excess, the menu was surprisingly simple with two choices of burgers and sides of fries and onion rings. Being a Southern boy, he dared not venture to such unknown lands all in the name of a burger as this was before the great burger revolution where a 'good' burger then would be laughable now. So for a long time it remained; burger and boy were kept separated with an introduction existing only in the boy's imagination. That was until the burger made the move south to a converted railway arch in Vauxhall and in the process, becoming the boy's burger next door.

The romance started thick and fast with the boy visiting three times in the soft launch alone. Each time was the same cheeseburger and fries but with each bite, the love affair grew. In their year together, the relationship was blissful, growing stronger and stronger with every drunken feast and hungover breakfast.

Then disaster struck, as Father Time told boy adulthood and gentrification would lead to a move further south. With a heavy heart, and a cliche "it's not you, it's me", the romance was over.

And so time moved on, burger shop continuing to grow both in size (expanding East to Whitechapel) and stature and boy in well, size. Other burgers came and went but boy always held on fondly to the memory of that burger in all its filthy glory. Then came news the burger was expanding to a new location right next to Shoreditch High St overground station; boy's daily station to get to a from work.

Was this fate or just coincidence? Reunited with the Dirty Bacon and Crinkle-cut chips, it mattered little as each mouthful served as a reminder of simpler times. And as good as the boy remembered the burger being, it proved to be so much better that an additional order of the cheeseburger was made shortly after the Dirty Bacon disappeared. Only extreme self-control (and a very stern wife) prevented a third from being consumed.

Needless to say, the reunion was beautiful and long overdue. Dangerously convenient, I've no doubt the next visit won't be far away.

This is the story of Dirty Burger and KST.

These burgers are no doubt tasty, there's a lot of competition for these guys just within a mile but it is a nice addition to the Shoreditch House establishment over the road from us.

Now, Shoreditch House, private members club upstairs (the food is really good up there, open til 3am... and you can sit by a pool on the roof) however downstairs their eateries consist of Pizza East and now Dirty Burger.

The chips are great the dirty bacon is nice however I like my patty thicker and bacon less greasy. This is only a comment that comes from being spoilt by the ever increasing quality of burgers in Shoreditch. However, they are slightly cheaper than their competitors.

Milkshake, ask for malt, delicious.
Also the onion rings are ever so strange, so stick to fries.

We Love Food, It's All We Eat

Bit of a blogger fail, but we still have a few London burger places to tick off our list. Dirty Burger was one of them, although they had three branches one in Vauxhall, Whitechapel and Kentish Town, they feel like the other end of the world to us. Luckily they have now come to Shoreditch with their fourth outpost, just a hop skip and a jump away from our Southbank office and slap bang in front of Shoreditch High Street station.

For those that don’t know, Dirty Burger is part of the Soho House group (for which we’ll become members once we’ve made our fortune). The new branch is right by Shoreditch House (we’ll get a card for there too) and is more of a hatch than a restaurant, seating just a handful of people and is more set up for take outs. Before 11 they serve a Sausage and egg or Bacon and egg burger, both just £4 with bottomless tea or coffee.

We visited on the second night of the soft launch as they were offering 50% off. A little part of us died as we stood queuing for food whilst hipster after hipster walked past looking at us as if we were in line for a food bank. Initially I had to resist the urge to abandon the long line and go to our beloved Dishoom just around the corner instead, but we had a box to tick and our stomachs were geared up for burgers.

It turns out queuing isn’t too bad when you have tonnes of emails to catch up on and a copy of Time Out to read, within half an hour we were inside. The decor was shack-chic, all corrugated iron and beaten up wood, a few stools for those lucky enough to sit in and eat, thank the lord we were one of those lucky few. Although it does mean that others waiting just gawp at your food.

Ade had a Dirty Bacon £7. a good quality patty, cooked medium rare topped with smoked bacon and oozing American cheese. My order was wrong, but I won’t hold that against them, it was manic and noisy and mistakes happen, this is why restaurants have soft launches. For some reason my Cheeseburger £6 without cheese came as just a lonely patty in a bun, no sauce, no lettuce, no nothing. This was swiftly sorted and I was handed the correct burger, I wished I’d asked to hang on to the previous burger to give to a homeless guy I’d spotted by the station, I hate good food (or any food) going in the bin. Vegetarians don’t worry, there’s a burger just for you too – the Dirty Cop-Out £5, a portobello mushroom-based burger.

Anyhow, the burger was great, not as rare as we like but still juicy and a decent size too. Crinkle cut fries £3.25 were nice and chunky with a good crunch. Onion fries £3.25 weren’t what we hoped, they were more of an onion ring nugget, not fries with an oniony seasoning as we imagined, we enjoyed them regardless.

The milkshakes are lovely and thick, although pretty pricey compared to how reasonable the burgers are. We shared a Strawberry milkshake £4.50, I did order a Chocolate one too but they didn’t hear me and it was too much effort to amend. The Dirty donuts £2 were all gone so we didn’t get to try them, although to be honest I don’t think I could have gotten anything else in my mouth.

What I remember most about Dirty Burger is how smiley and friendly the staff were considering the immense pressure they were under to feed the masses, and it’s service like that (along with the prices) that will encourage us to return one day. Who knows, one day we might even venture out to the Whitechapel branch where Chicken Shop is under the same (corrugated) roof.

I’ve been to this burger joint several times when it was called dirty burger, but it recently rebranded to Filth Food and started serving 100% plant based burgers. To be honest I was quite surprised when I tried the burger because it was very tasty and juicy despite the absence of meat. (I have to admit, I don’t know much about vegetarian/vegan food) The patties are made of beans, quinoa and soy mince and are topped with American beer cheese! Also the sauces were particularly good, I loved the beetroot ketchup and the garlic alioli.

Sandwiched within one of the many buildings along Bethnal Green Rd a little place with room for about a dozen calls out to you, ever so subtly. With a lightly toasted bun and a unique among the masses spread sauce, Dirty Burger , as the name suggests, gets things done quick and dirty. They used a metal cover with the effect of achieving a superb cheese melting on a thick beef patty. Along with old fashioned crinkle fries, this is truly a gem within Shoreditch. - location also serves non beef and veggie options for those with different tastes -

Extremely good vegan junk food, unfortunately just fell a tad short of the sky-high expectations that we had going in. Still, highly recommended, a few years ago vegans could only have dreamed about food this dirty and delicious. Portions could also have been a bit larger.

Love this joint. Best burgers in Shoreditch! Much better than P&B. Recommend Bacon Cheeseburger. The bacon in it is especially delicious- thick cut, smoky. Dee-lish!!

Small but cool burger spot in Shoreditch - matches the artsy, street looking vibe over there The food was tasty and freshly made (I ordered the 'Dirty Bacon' burger with crinkle fries - but they also have meatless options) Would visit again if I'm in the area.

Polite friendly staff, not a huge selection of burgers but what they do, they do very well. Reasonably priced, good location - opposite the box park - although small inside. Highly recommended

One of the most memorable burgers I've had. Found it to be a little pricey, but that's London. Food and drink we both great along with some very friendly staff for the time of night I was there! Area is great and atmosphere is very eccentric. Well with a visit if you love American food!

It's honestly one of the best hamburger place in town. Not posh, small and cozy with very friendly stuff. Small but delicious selection, very fast service. For some reason I foubd it extremely convenient on a Sunday night when everywhere else in Shoreditch was extremely crowded. If you are a fan of proper burger pay them a visit. I could have easily ate two of them in a row.

Cool casual place to eat. Not much space so could imagine during peak hours, will be overcrowded. Their chicken is halal. Had the dirty bird with sweet potato fries. Burger was nice, felt as something was missing from it like cheese or bit more seasoning in the batter of the chicken. The sweet potato fries are properly one of the best I’ve had! Overall good food was friendly service
