Excellent food. It was my husbands birthday lunch. He got a lovely chocolate cake and a free drink!!! I had the seabass in Thai sauce. Yummy. We will definitely be going back.
Just a decent traditional British pub. It's clean and the staff and locals seem friendly enough.
Current photos do not represent this fantastic Pub. Front and back Gardens have had full makeover. Covered seating at the front. Loads of seating in the back garden with bbq. Live sports. Always a fantastic atmosphere.
The picture associated with this pub is a bit old. The garden area has been fully revamped and is now a lovely garden space with decking and level tables to sit at. Next time I visit, I will take a picture and post it on here so you can see. The staff are polite and friendly and they sell a good ran

Had Sunday Lunch here 6th November, staff always very welcoming and friendly. Nice feel to pub, topical sport on TV’s all round pub. We had the chicken roast and it was superb, none of your frozen stuff, all fresh and plenty of it.
In for a swiftly Saturday night. Good vibe. Chatty, noises and relaxed. 2 ladies behind the bar friendly, helpful and efficient. Guinness a little colder than I would prefer but I can’t call that a complaint. Good stuff. Will return.
Having had a lovely walk in Oxleas Wood, a pint and a roast would have been awesome. Note that you need to book if you want a Sunday roast here....... it was very busy! The pub had a very nice feel though so settled for a nice and well priced pint.
