I’ve had a lot of afternoon teas. This is definitely in my top 5. Maybe even 3.
It was the decor that truly made my experience (but don’t get me wrong, the food and service was flawless), there was even a live pianist playing beautifully.

Had a fantastic afternoon tea celebrating my 50th with my wonderful friends back in June. We were well looked after by the staff and they made sure we enjoyed my special birthday. Definitely recommend this place for the great customer service, the ambience of the place and the delicious sandwiches,
We had a wonderful day at Cafe Royal celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. The staff were fabulous, the service was exceptional and the treats were delightful. Thank you so much!

Afternoon tea highly recommended. Lovely staff and fantastic ambience. Food was delicious and we were so full we got a doggy bag to take home.
Lovely afternoon tea and at very impressive dining room. Staff were very attentive and sandwiches were very tasty. I would recommend it to everyone to visit it at least once.
