What can I say about this place! Amazing theatre with a rich history and absolutely stunning performances. Watched 4 plays already - Julius Caesar, Midsummer night’s dream, Macbeth and As you like it. All the plays had an amazing cast, amazing costumes and were beautifully played. Love the yard standing area - I think it’s the best way to watch Shakespeare plays at the Globe. Just £5 tickets and you feel like being part of the play rather than in the audience, with all action happening around you. It’s one of the things only London can offer and I recommend watching a play here for anyone visiting London! Book your tickets in advance on the Globe website as the yard tickets generally sell out very quickly. Also it’s open air, so do dress for the weather!

Our guide (Gerald) was EXEMPLARY~!~! He provided such personalized and intimate communication of all sorts of information about the Globe. He included historical memorabilia, personable anecdotes, funny stories, and interacted quite well with the audience. The theater came to life via his presentation, and allowed an insider's look at the entire venue. Highly recommended.

A beautiful place. If you are a Shakespeare fan, this is a must. Be warned, If you go for a play during cold weather, You WILL be cold. If it rains, you will get wet. It is open air. Highly recommend paying for cushions and blankets, They are cheap enough. Some people may need something to prop their feet up on when sitting in the theater as the bench seats are quite high (use your own bag or coat). There are no backs to the seats as they are basically benches. This is an immersion experience. This is how people viewed Shakespeare during his time. The gift shop is full of really cool merchandise. I easily spent more than a hundred pounds there. Workers are all friendly and helpful. Bathrooms easily accessible, although the doorways are quite thin. There is a very good pub adjacent to theater, called the Swan, with a great view across the river of Saint Paul's.

Easy to book tickets online. Helpful staff. Great shows. I had taken a standing ticket for Midsummer Nights Dream. Good visibility from standing area and comfortable. Staff were handing out paper caps to protect us from sunlight. It is an outdoors theatre so come hydrated and wear sunscreen! Only so called problem would be the somewhat expensive gift shop. Wound up not getting anything.

Loved it. Modern twist on Shakespeare. We saw As You Like It. Do not expect to understand the costumes.. but it makes it all the more appealing. Great audience interaction and free apples! Had a great time... Booked Macbeth for the next week!

Great experience. We came and watched Midsummer Night's Dream after being inspired to do so during a tour earlier in the year. We sat in the upper gallery and had a great view, but not always easy to hear. Nonetheless very enjoyable.

Just went to see the Scottish Play in one of the best things I've ever seen on stage. The amazing location has been perfectly embedded in the performance. If you can't see a play, come for the guided tour. The history of the original theater and its recreation is worth a visit, too.

The Globe is an absolute must-visit in London. With its rich history, stunning architecture, and incredible shows, it never disappoints. My family and I have made multiple visits, and we're definitely coming back for more. An iconic venue with a story that's survived through centuries. Don't miss the shop for great souvenirs!

What a fun experience! The show is exactly what you'd expect from a Shakespeare show and somehow totally different. The play was in old English and very easy to follow. Nothing overly complex with the props but the costumes were absolutely outstanding. The standing room pit is open air and the seating area has simple wood benches. I'd definitely recommend for anyone who has an interest in a great show that is very unique and original.

If you're a Shakespeare nerd this is a must visit place! Awesome ambiance and a great look into how a theater would be made and staged in Elizabethan times. The staff is very helpful and the actors are as good as you would hope.
