Amazing Breakfast!. Fantastic little Cafe/Bistro! Lovely staff and authentic feel. Breakfast is amazing, tastes very French! They even bring out little mini Baquettes with Butter with your Coffee!

I recently visited this french place and was quite impressed with it. The ambience was pretty decent, synced with the French theme and made you feel quite comfortable. The food is excellent, especially the steaks and frites. The ambience is just right if you want to have a small party.

I totally like this place. This restaurant serves really good breakfast though lunch and dinner are pretty average. The variety on offer is also quite good with a lot of healthy options to choose from. The service may be a bit lacking though the authorities are taking steps to correct it. This place also houses a great variety of wines and overall, it is a very good choice for breakfast.

The place has received a lot of negative reviews about its service. During our visit, the staff as well as the manager was extremely friendly and hospitable. During both our visits, the manger served us our food, which was commendable. The food was also delicious and perfectly presented. In all, we had a great experience.

Its nearby location made it the first port of call for brunch on the weekends or a special mid-week meal. The manager is of an acquired taste as others have said and he is quick, efficient and usually quite funny to chat to.Even as we asked for a lot of changes in to the selection of brunch dishes on the menu, our suggestions were incorporated without any problems, the manager even threw in a free glass of prosecco for a friend's birthday.
The food is classically French and maintains it good quality and tastes delicious .Although if we consider the value for money it seems quite expensive but the place is for sure worth the visit.

A quick review by inhis30s (i.e. the hubby). Its a Saturday afternoon and while the missus is away a friend and I meet here for a catch-up. The service is typically French, but the location is very chillaxed. A great place just to have a coffee in the large bay windows and read a paper. On this occasion this is what I find my friend doing when I arrive.

I have a hangover so a quick freshly squeezed orange juices is ordered. I tried to order an Oringina but all I got was a grunt of a "non". I end up having an orange juice and lemonade though I would advise not doing this as I think the orange juice is too good to be mixed with bad lemonade.

For mains I opt for mussels and my friend has sole. Cooked well and very pleasant. Good company and good food meant that when I came into this place, I had a hangover - however when I left I certainly didn't!

We had a great meal here - everything was amazing. The steak tartare, the duck, flammenkueche and onion soup were all very authentic. The service was great too. Will definitely be back.

Good French restaurant, serving a few classic mid range dishes bistro style. The food is good, decoration is also quite typical. Service is quite slow, so don't be in a rush. They don't have kids options, so make sure you bring something! Wine list is ok, they have 4 wines available by the glass, and you can also order a "pot" of wine, which is very typical from Lyon.

Le Pot Lyonnais needs more customers from the surronding local area and im not sure why it doesn't. It is a wonderful spot on a great road. The food makes you feel like you are in paris and the staff are overly attentive. Even if you fancy sitting there and watching the world go by I think it's a must go!

Truly French food - ambience was great and service was very good too. I would give here a try and ignore the reviews saying that service is poor, the owner was most welcoming.

Proper French restaurant with French staff. Nice to get something authentic. I had the duck confit with potatoes. Buttery, garlicky, flavoursome food. Perfect crisp skin on the duck, melt in the mouth meat and falling off the bone. Deliceux, bon appetit!

A firm favourite of mine for more than 10 years. They do an excellent Croque Madame even if it's not on the menu

I’ve lived in SW London for 15 years..so I’ve tried a few of the famous French restaurants in the area. I’ve tried the indistinctive Gazettes of the world, and the fine dining of Chez Bruce… Le Pot Lyonnais is distinctive and special. It has a vibe. London is really missing this kind of rustic no frills priority cooking. A special mention must go to the snails. They are soft, and buttery little numbers coated in parsley. The plate was shamelessly tipped into my mouth after the snails were finished. On a side night, the beer is serious. Very serious. Real effort is going into this. For me, this place serves the fizziest, coldest pint in all of London. Keep up the good word and spread the word!

Such a lovely restaurant with excellent food. Spacious yet intimate, casual yet upscale. We came around 2pm with our dog and will definitely be back for an evening meal as the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner. Patrick couldn't have been kinder to our dog, allowing us to sit inside. He brought her a water bowl and treats from the kitchen. The half roasted chicken and vegetables were perfectly cooked and cost almost half what you'd pay in other London restaurants. Not a place to go if you're in a hurry but very nice for relaxing with a drink while you wait.

Lovely food served in a nice environment. The service can be slow at times but never frustratingly so - just go for an evening rather than a quick meal. The owner is a lovely guy and always welcoming.

We try to come to Le Pot Lyonnais every week—it’s a neighbourhood staple. Patrick’s food is always delicious—we’re big fans of the onion soup, salad lyonnais, chicken, and of course the steak, but we’ve tried just about everything on the menu and haven’t found anything we don’t like. The reviews don’t do it justice— would Definitely would recommend :)

The best Chateaubriand we’ve had! A true gem French place in Queenstown Road. The owner is very friendly and have a typical French sense of humour. Really recommend it.

There was a nice atmosphere, the host Patrick was great. The food was good and at a reasonable price. My friend has been before and I will go again, hopefully. UPDATED. I was there again today, sat outside the sun was warm, beer was cold, the food and company were fantastic. 👍🏻🍻
