Excellent Burrito went large for £6.60 . Excellent choice of ingredients to add, can choose from chicken, lamb or pork. Went for chicken, great choice of vegetable options as well.
Naked burrito with chicken and avocado my absolute favourite.They have various options in beans ,meat to choose from and amazing salsa that adds the extra flavour.Plus you can add up spice if you need !!
Taco vs Burrito which one would you pick? I think I’m more of a burrito person as it’s more filling than tacos. Nevertheless, I’m still rather picky on my fillings and there are certain ingredients in a classic burrito, or even in Mexican cuisine in general, that I may not like, so a perfect burrito or taco would be ones that I’m allowed to build on my own.
I loved the burritos over here .. preferred the coriander rice filling over the tomato rice .. awesome taste lingering in my mouth still .. absolutely love it .. quick and filling snack .. or even lunch maybe... top it up with a corona beer ..
Great burritos, quick and tasteful that describes it all. Go there when your craving for a sinful burrito surfaces, i did try the tacos once but they didn't come out that well.
One of the most-pungent hot-sauces in the world is Tortilla Leadenhall Market's (London) Ultra Death 20 chilli sauce; just a bit behind the Nagaland's Naga Jolakia chillis !!
Tortilla might be tucked away, but it still commands a very good trade at lunch time, with a queue often snaking to the door. If visiting at lunch time I suggest going downstairs where extra seating and service is available.
The concept is essentially the same as Subway allowing you to construct your burrito with the ingredients you want. I opted for the chicken with tomato rice, being the first visit I only opted for the medium sauce, I definitely recommend getting the hot sauce if you like anything spicy. My main disappointment with the filling was that guacamole costed an extra 70p, I felt this shouldn't cost any more than the salsa or sour cream, which came as standard.
The service was quick enough and the burrito was excellent. The prices were reasonable and competitive within the market. Definitely recommend Tortilla to anyone wanting a quick fix of Mexican cuisine.

I used to work on London Cannon street for my placement year and this was one of my favourite spots to grab a quick bite of lunch. On lunch times the Leadenhall market is always a very rushed and busy environment with lots of random food stands. Tortilla is tucked away in a corner and I didn't realise it at first until someone pointed it out to me.
Barbacoa burrito is definitely worth a try if you have never tried it. The beef is tender and cooked perfectly. I add plain rice, salsa sauce and beans into my Burrito and also grab a simple can of coke to enjoy the meal. It can be hard to find a table, however they do have a downstairs bit and you should be able to find a couple of free tables down there. Their tortilla chips can be bought as a side but be careful the burritos are very filling and you may struggle to finish the chips too.
This can be a perfect get away in your busy London work life and I enjoyed going there with a couple of my work colleagues. As a university student on placement year, I was always on the look out for cheap meals and I can safely say that this will only set you back around £6 - £7, which is delicious and very filling.
Burritos are probably my favourite meal so I decided to pop in here for lunch. The place was really busy at lunch. I went for the pulled pork, my favourite meat. The other ingredients were pretty much exactly the same as what you get in most burrito places to be honest. I found the whole thing a bit bland really, and thought the rice and the pork could have had some more flavour. The price was £6 I think, which seems to be the going rate in London.
Excellent burritos ! The place is situated in the heart of Leadenhall market and serves just mexican food. Though not a fancy shop, the food is really good and not that expensive as well. The choices are few, but a must recommendation if looking for mexican food in the city of london.
If you are in City of London, love Mexican food, are a Harry Potter Fan and like amazing service... this is a must go place for you. Every pound spent is worth it.

Had the naked barbacoa baburrito with coriander rice and extra cheese sauce. Would definitely have again - great portion size and super tasty. Although the queue was long, it moved quickly and the service was lovely.

Love the food at Totilla. It’s very fresh the staff was very friendly.
Good spot for lunch. Came here with a couple of my colleagues and were almost out off by the long queue spilling out in to the market. Thankfully, we joined and it moved fairly quickly.
Service was efficient and friendly and the chicken burrito I ordered was really tasty.
Also, the price is reasonable (they do a student discount too).
I’m sure I will be back here for many lunches with my colleagues in the future.
Easily the best burrito shop I've ever been to. Have to say I've had easily 40+ in the last 2 years. I love it! Aga is a wonderful manager and a joy to see every time I go in.
