Mien Tay is definitely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in London (and I have tried many of them). The Pho is outstanding with a broth so tasty that you want to drink all of it. The crispy sea bass with spring onions we ordered was very nice and fresh. Fresh summer rolls with peanut sauce (did not take a picture of them) were as good as usual. 5 star definitely for the food; Mien Tay is one of those restaurants where you go exclusively for the food and nothing else. And it is worth it. 1 star for Atmosphere as the restaurant REALLY needs to be looked after much better, from the interior to the overall cleaning. The service is what it is; sometimes is good, sometimes the owner might be a bit grumpy and so as consequence seems a bit unkind. But again for my point of view, considering the restaurant overall, I don't expect anything different from this.

I normally order through Deliveroo but went to check out the shop. The broth is so yummy 😋 Almost drank the whole bowl of broth after finishing the noodles. I ordered the spicy beef noodles and the beef is so tender and well marinated. Also, the spring rolls are very fresh and crispy. The staff were also super nice to us! Will definitely come back!

Well, what can I say.... Exceptional Vietnamese cuisine. Had pho with beef (no. 129) and vermicelli noodles with chicken, chili and lemongrass (no. 150). Top quality and authenticity. Topped with a Vietnamese drip coffee. Wow! Must try!

I've seen many people walk into this place mistaking it for Chinese. Mien Tay 5 is the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I've come across in London. They don't do all street food must the ones they do almost take me back to Saigon. The phố and bún bò Huế spicy noodle soup broth is really good along with most starters. Oh and the mango salad is so yummmmm

Vietnamese comfort food! Friendly staff and quick service. Restaurant tries to do app ordering, but web interface seems to be a work in progress, didn't load very well which makes choosing dishes quite difficult. Tasty pho (a little under cooked for my liking), would return.

My family and I highly recommend Mien Tay Vietnamese Restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, and the staffs are very friendly and attentive. I especially loved the betel leaf rolls, salt and pepper sea bass, beef pho, and red beans drink. The betel leaf rolls are a refreshing and flavourful appetiser. The salt and pepper sea bass is a delicious main course. The fish is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The beef pho is a hearty and satisfying soup based dish. The broth is rich and flavourful, and the beefs are perfectly cooked. The red beans drink is a sweet and refreshing drink made with red beans and coconut milk. Overall, we had many wonderful experience at Mien Tay Vietnamese Restaurant during our visits. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. My family, friends and I will definitely be back soon!

A gem! I had been to the branch in Clapham Junction which is phenomenal and was so happy to find out that branch a stone's throw from my house existed! Pho noodles are perfect for those cold and wet evenings and the broth at Mien Tay 5 (MT5) is fantastic. The broth is dark in colour meaning it has been cooked over a long period ensuring maximum flavour. Portion sizes are good for the price and other dishes also impress. Vietnamese spring rolls, thin sliced beef cooked. In lime juice, honey garlic lime quail, air dried beed mango/papaya salad and Bun Bo Hue are also highlights on the menu. All major credit cards accepted and they are even on deliveroo! Portion sizes are the same as eating in which is RARE and for the same price. Cannot fault this place.

The most unassuming little place, feels more like a takeaway than a restaurant but the food makes up for it! Don’t be fooled by the desktop and printers on the tables, or the mountain of bean sprouts sitting in the green container, this is how we do things in Southeast Asia! And the food oh my god the food is delicious! generous portions (photo was taken mid meal) and they come out so quick! High recommend 10/10 love this place!!!

Authentic tasting home dishes... Finally a decent pho place close to N17... No need to head East for my Pho fix. This place is priced well. Service is friendly and food tasty. The decor is nothing to be admired by any means, but thumbs up for trying. Have been here several times now and food is always on point. So yeah. I'd recommend. Eating in or delivery service.

HIDDEN GEM! Had the classic beef Pho, was deffo up there with some of the best pho I've had in london. I often eat Vietnamese in Hoxton where lot's of good viet restaurants are, but this one is just as good and in an un assuming spot on Lordship lane. Will be visiting often as its local to me and very fairly priced.
