Been here twice. Both times it was really tasty food, good sized portions and decent value.
Service was good with the owner spending time to come and talk to us. Will definitely return again. Well worth pairing it up with a visit to the local cinema or Museum of Docklands.
brilliant ! The food was excellent as all reviews say. Prices reasonable. It's difficult to choose some food bcs. everything seems delicious! I would definitely come back to try more.

This has got to be the most flavoursome Indian Restaurant in the UK.
Interior is ok, I'd rate the Interior 3 stars, it's traditional, comfortable and cosy. But the food is truly awesome and I really mean it...Mouthwatering flavours. I've been ordering from this place for the last 18 years and the flavours are spot on, I've never had any problems with this restaurant. No matter where I am, when I want an Indian, it's always this place because I've tried the rest. This place always delivers the food how it should be. I can tell just from the flavours the chef has been here since day one even though I've never met the chef which I would like to meet one day. The food is never overcooked or undercooked, the chefs skills are precisely perfect.
My favourite starter is the fat-free Shami Kebab, and when I mean fat-free it doesn't mean it comes dry, it's juicy and full of flavours with grilled onions on top (checkout the picture)
My favourite main dish is the Chicken Dansak with extra slices of garlic and green chilli. The chef knows exactly how I want and customise it for me, and I am very picky when it comes to food. The dansak is full of extra toppings, they don't fall short when you ask them (check the chicken dansak in the picture)
Side dish I usually go for the Vegetable Bhajee, and again the way the vegetables are cooked it's truly flavoursome. Most restaurants the vegetables seems to be boring and soggy, but in this restaurant, it's something you would not dislike.
I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and I promise you'd be satisfied. I usually order takeaway and I still yet to meet the chef and the management just to say...THANK YOU.

I came here today and ordered chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and naan bread. The chicken tikka masala is one of the best I've ever had in my life! The taste is so rich and full of flavour and it's not watery or oily unlike some other curries in other restaurants. The pilau rice was delicious too and I could eat it just by itself without the curry, it's so tasty. The naan bread was so soft and fresh and also delicious. I would highly recommend them, they really do make delicious food and are generous with their portions. The fact that they were getting constant takeaway orders shows I'm not the only one who thinks their food is amazing! π
Food is fantastic. Service fantastic. Atmosphere not good place needs a revamp but overall I would come back .
We went here twice. Excellent food, reasonable price, friendly service (although we went with our two very active, rather noisy and messy children - sorry!). Not to be missed!

Delivery's are always nice so thought we would come in on Sunday for a sit down
My boy is a fussier eater but enjoyed his poppadoms and rice. My 5year old daughter had the chicken tikka starter for her main she enjoyed it that much she asked for more.
I had the bombay curry which was the best curry i have had in a long time.
My mrs had the garlic chilli chicken which she enjoyed could not eat it all but took the rest home and said it was just as bice the next day.
The briyanis are always nice and big portions and there tandoori chicken and chicken tikkas are always well marinated.
This is the best Indian restaurant takeaway and delivery in east london.
I have been enjoying this restaurant for over a year now and have no plans on swapping to another restaurant.
Thank you for a great service for how first time sitting in to eat at your restaurant.
