Great cheese pastry! Burek je najbolji!
I really love this place, been here a few times, staff are always friendly and easy going. They do a great pork and lamb on the spit but it sells out fast. We once got a badly overcooked burger (charred on one side) and couldn't finish it, but every other time each meal was truly great. Will definitely keep going back.
This little Serbian cafe sells delicious boreks, which we often bought for takeaway. Their spit roast pork and cevapi were also excellent.

There is a great tradition of barbecuing in the Balkans - called rostilj there - and if you're a meat eater and have ever had a full-on grill it's a memorable experience.
Across Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and over into Macedonia you get these little takeaway shops that are half butchers window, half charcoal grill restaurants and you can choose the fresh meat you want cooked and then sit around and wait for it to be done or take it home and cook it yourself.
In London there are only a few places serving this type of food and one of them is Mugi, a cafe and coffee bar in Ealing.
I commend everyone who loves BBQ to try it.
The staple dish in any rostilj is the cevapi, similar to a Turkish adana but with a fuller beefier flavour. At Mugi you should also try the pljeskavica, a mixture of ground meat (usually pork or beef) and spices moulded into a large patty. You can have this served with kajmak, a thick clotted cream that has never been to my liking but which some people love, and a simple cabbage and olive oil salad that is great for refreshing the palette and countering the heaviness of the meat.
The piletina, grilled chicken, is also beautifully cooked over charcoal.
Another great dish at Mugi is the burek, made from filo pastry and either crumbly cheese or mince meat. It comes in a layered pie form or rolled into long tubes and wound up in a spiral that can be pulled apart and eaten with your hands.
Top your meal off with a palacinke (pancake) for dessert or some apple strudel. Recommended!

Hygiene levels are low ( saw a mouse towards the toilet, food being display in the fridges didn’t look fresh)
However their lamb on the spit is excellent , would highly recommend to go just for this !

It’s amazing place to try Serbian food. Portions are really big and worth of price. Really delicious, desert are available too. Will be back there once again 😋👏
I found myself in Ealing Common at Tube station. Went to Mugi's Coffee Bar across the road. It's a comfy family-run cafe and deli serving E. European dishes I like e.g. Borek and Baklava, or a big English breakfast. Huge cups of illy cappuccino, and large plates of freshly roast lamb or pork done on the spit at the back of the cafe, at around £11 you get 300gr of delicious crispy roast which is massive. 15 Station Parade, Uxbridge Rd, London W5 3LD

I'm a Croat never been there never tried any of their foods... But only looking at those pics I can tell they are giving U a pretty legit and accurate experience as U would get here in Croatia... Try it out folks... U'll be amazed with our croatian/Balkan foods
I must say that I was very impressed with the service. I placed an order on 31st December 2018 for two BBQ whole lambs for 1st of January , order was delivered as promised, not only that but it was BBQ at perfection.

Amazing food. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Held a family gtg for 20 people. The staff was more than friendly. The owner kept bringing sweets & candies for the kids. Made us felt at home. Would recommend for sure.
