Sushi Bar Tokiya - London - Photo album

They must have changed a bit since the last reviews. Great service, very polite and quick, plus resanosble for what it is. The food was okay, prefered the hot but at least all made to order and small portions but you will get full quickly
Terrible customer service. They give you so little soya sauce that it is almost impossible dip the sushi, and ask you to pay more if you need.
The ambiance isn't particularly appealing and the service might seem slow to some people, BUT the food indeed is authentic and very well hand-made. Both my wife and me enjoyed it already for two times to our hearts' content. In particular the Grilled Salmon Sushi was just mindblowing. I do hope they
Unfortunately, the food wasn't at all what I was expecting for a Japanese restaurant. The rice didn't even taste like Japanese rice is supposed to taste, the miso soup was flavourless, and the sushi, well, it was almost impossible to distinguish the fish from the other ingredients in the sushi roll.
Went there today with a friend. First off, the lady takes ages to even look up for attention. She was so devoted doing her job, and it takes forever. She did give a friend note that the sushi will take a long time as the sushi queue was long. Reading the review here sounded the place offers good sus
Fantastic vegetable tempura and home made ice cream (sesame and chestnut). Service slow but fantastic old school ambiance. Good quality ingredients. Perfect for a relaxing night out with friends and good food- not for a quick dinner.
Miserable waiter who rolled her eyes when I asked for more soy sauce (which we were also charged extra for) Very small portions and not very tasty food. Made to feel like I was a nuisance for coming into their restaurant (which had no atmosphere) Not worth a penny of your money or your time!
I go for the sushi...what's written on the chalk board. It is some of the best I have had in London. The gyoza are also good, as is the seaweed salad. Yes, it is small, the service can be well meaning but awkward; and sometimes my wife and I are the only ones there. It ain't a party place, I suppose
