Such a lovely addition to this end of Deptford High Street and great outside area with a view of the anchor. The cocktails were amazing and great attention to detail and presentation. Will be going back soon!
We'd been avoiding this place due to some initial bad experiences, overcooked food and grumpy servers, but I'm glad we gave it another go as it was the best breakfast I've eaten in years! Perfectly cooked eggs, homemade beans and all served piping hot. And a damned fine bloody Mary.
Lucy had perfectly cooked eggs florentine. Next week I'm going back for the chicken bagel
Brunch was lovely. Had the corn fritters and the dish with purple tortillas. Good sunny spot for afternoon drinks.
Went for Sunday breakfast. Menu could have few more gluten free options, as only one is available which is porridge with fruits. I was happy with it and enjoyed my matcha. Service was attentive and friendly. They have good selection of cocktails and wine. Overall, lovely place to stay in local area.
Had the egg Royale, very nice, fantastic value for money.
One issue was I tried to order and while the waitress with big lush hair was taking my order at the counter, a lady who is perhaps a supervisor told me to sit down and they'll come to my table. Fair enough I did.
Waited 20 minutes and they came to my table and asked "are you ready to order?"
Must be a joke because I was clearly at the counter 20minutes ago trying to order and you sat me back down.
I'd recommend for the food but that service miscommunication needs addressing. Really annoying first thing in my morning.
Nice addition to Deptford High Street. Stopped in here for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. If looking for a quick bite to eat, I'd definitely stop by here. Soft music adds to the atmosphere and there is plenty of seating outside.
The tables outside are lovely for a sunny day.
A welcome addition to Deptford High Street. Good wine list and snacks available. Superb hummus too! Some of the food and drinks were slightly pricey for the area. @paulfoodie
Fantastic dishes- sophisticated flavours at a very reasonable price! The small dishes (and they are not that small) mean you can try a large variety. Would highly recommend.
Popped in for brunch on a Saturday and was greeted by a fabulous establishment and equally warm welcome. Space was clean and well furnished with excellent vibe and tunes over the speakers.
Flat white was great and almond croissant (£3.5) was tasty though a little dry in places. The peanut butter brownie was a little piece of joy and sensation and honestly difficult to not order another.
Main event was the breakfast bap (£5.5) which will definitely have me returning for. Amazingly tasty with lots of tasty layers to enjoy rounded off by the deliciously sweet onion chutney at the bottom. Wonderfully gooey too!
Booze in on offer but not tried today. Bloody Mary is £8
Will return!
Great late night bar with really good brush, lunch and dinner options. The cocktails are also great and the atmosphere is fun.
Had a great night out with friends, £6 Thursday is amazing value for money and a must for you to try. Great cocktails and wine list
Probably one of the best places to eat in the Deptford area. Food is absolutely amazing. You must try the Langoush, Cheese puffs, and Broccoli. Cocktails are very nice. As a bonus place is working until very late.
OJ and his team were welcoming, professional and extremely capable mixologists. The team personified the atmosphere and were clearly a big part of everyone’s attraction to the bar. We’ll be back!!!
Friendly staff, nice ambience. £5 Thursdays are great! Food is pretty good, some plates are better than others. It was my partners birthday and they were super kind and gave him a complimentary cocktail! Will definitely go back!
Was a nice place, food was good. The chicken crumpet was delicious! Nice clean decor. Friendly staff.
