Despite bubble tea houses popping up EVERYWHERE in central London, I remain somewhat faithful to Chatime. Why? Cos it's so friggin good!! I always order the classic milk tea and am never disappointed. They are generous with the balls ;)

I suggest going to the Soho branch instead of the one in Chinatown as it is considerably less busy. The only downside is there isn't much seating space compared to other bubble tea establishments. Oh well, you can't have it all :)

Despite numerous other bubbletea places popping up around London, Chatime has always been my all-time favourite place to go. The Old Compton Street branch is my preferred branch, just because it's usually less busy as compared to the Chinatown branch.

Some of my favourite ones include the Matcha Red Bean and the Taro Milk Tea. The fruity options are also really nice. There is a good selection of toppings, but I usually get the pearls or the grass jelly.

And of course, you also get to customize the sugar and ice level of your drink.
Always a nice way to end the day with a nice cold bubbletea... or a warm one, whichever your preference may be.

INCREDIBLE BUBBLE TEA.
I really can not stress how authentic and amazing this bubble tea place is. The line outside just shows how good it is.

This bubble tea is simply one of the best examples in London of authentic bubble tea similar to what I grew up with in Singapore. The drinks are so easily customisable, you can choose the type of Jelly or Tapioca, the amount of sugar, the amount of ice and of course the size. I recommend the Mango QQ, its a classic something everyone should try.

The milk tea's are also very good and you are able to try the type of milk and powder.
The tapioca is really good and is always freshly made. Really good place to go.

Bubble tea is one of the things that I’ve grown up drinking; those chewy tapioca balls accompanied with an array of flavours of different teas milk, fruit, smoothies, it makes a refreshing treat all year round. My favourite used to be Treasure Island from Jen’s Cafe, now I’ve grown to love the different tea styles, such as HK style, Taiwanese, Malaysian, Thai etc. The bubble tea scene has grown along the years, and I only heard recently about chatime.

Chatime has many outlets in Asia, and they finally made it over here in London, the branch is very tiny across from Bincho in old Crompton st, and the place is always packed out.

What I love about chatime bubble teas is the toppings used; silky smooth like tofu puddings and mushy sweet red beans have gotten me addicted to this place.

The tea here is pretty amazing too, and the combo of the delicious mouth watering toppings and tea makes one fine beverage.

Tiny tiny shop with a tiny bench in it to sit while waiting. But what they lack in size they more than make up for with HUGE flavor! Excellent flavors and for those that don’t like tea, they have tea-free options such as milk based drinks and fruity concoctions. Service is friendly and informative. Another plus is that they offer drink trays so it’s easier to carry when you’re buying more than one drink. Oh and they have an app as well.

very good bubble tea with a lot of choice and variety with many different flavours of tea and also toppings as well. Very quiet store I went around 3pm and hardly any queuing and the bubble tea was made very quickly but tastes incredible still. Photo I have attached the of the classic milk tea with tapioca pearls with 50% sugar (for a more tea like taste). Reasonable sizes of drinks too! The tapioca balls were soft and chewy and the tea is amazing I’ve only ever been to the other chatime store in Leicester Square and usually the queue is quite long for that one so this one is a better choice as the drinks are still top quality! Hope to be returning soon :)

Good boba tea. We've been to several across the country. Lots of different flavours to choose from. Long wait times at this one depending on the time visited.

Nice bubble tea with a lot of pearls. I really love the Matcha Milk Tea with Tapioca, one of the best I've ever had. The waiters are very nice and smiling. I would totally recommend it.

We are regular customers at this branch, as they are the best Bubble Tea in Central London. The staff are very friendly and positive. We would like to especially Thank Saira as whenever she serves us she always goes above and beyond, recommending us different flavours, asking about how our day has been and adapting the teas to suit our preferences, we will continue to be regulars as we love our tea and the service we receive here.

This is a trendy Asian 'tea' takeaway. It sells bubble tea which is flavoured tea with 'bubbles' in it. These bubbles are usually tapioca balls or sometimes jelly bits in it. The drinks taste good and are very interesting for people to try it new. It's not for everyone as I do know a few tea drinkers who don't like it. Most however, love this new twist on tea. This restaurant is good however the customer service can be a bit poor

This is by far the best Chatime in Central London. I've been to a few Chatimes as I love bubble tea so much, but always a pleasure going to the one in Soho. Excellently trained staff who knows how to work with customers. Always welcomed with a smile and staff goes out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. Special shout out to a young lady called Sara who is simply an asset to the branch and company as a whole! :)

I love this place!! It's nice that you can choose the level of sweetness of your drink, and there is a lot of variety. My friend tried a fruit tea with coconut jelly, was really good! I had the traditional tea with milk and tapioca pearls, awesome!

Still my favourite place to get roast milk tea. The waiting time has drastically reduced now they have several branches in the city. Service isn't the fasted and there is no place to sit so minus one star for this. Also, they discontinued the grass jelly a while back, while other places serve it still so it's a mystery to me as to why it is no longer available.

By far the most authentic bubble tea I've tasted in London. Be sure to try the original milk tea with pearls and if you're feeling slightly more adventurous, the taro milkshake or brown rice green tea is pretty amazing too. Unfortunately, prices are steep so I can only afford it as an occasional treat.

Home of the best bubble teas in London. The employees don't speak much English, and it is a cash only establishment. There can be quite the line to get in on many an occasion, but usually only take about 10 minutes to get to the counter and order. Try the roasted milk tea iced with bobas for one of their best drinks!

Best bubble tea in Chinatown and that shows from the long queues they have. There is a varied menu with many different flavours. They also let you choose sugar and ice levels so your drink is never too sweet or icy. My favourites from the menu is the hazelnut milk bubble tea and the taro milk bubble tea.

I'm a regular customer here and love being served by a lovely young man (mentioned he is a university student doing computer science) who's usually here throughout the week and a lovely young woman with jet black hair, also a student!Always a great time popping into this branch to pick up my always delicious teas! Good job.

Pretty good chain of bubble tea shops which you can find around the world. As it is on the main street, the queue can get quite long, so exact to wait on the weekend or visit one of the few lesser known bubble tea places around China Town. They do a lot of weird flavours so be adventurous!
