Visited the restaurant on Saturday night, the food was the best and the service was amazing. Highly recommend.
Visited the KT on Sunday evening and was very pleased with both the food and the service. There is an excellent variety of food to choose from on the menu and you can taste the freshness when it comes out. He manager and his team were excellent throughout and I will be returning very soon! 10/10 best curry in London.
Amazing food! As someone who has never really had Indian food before, from being scared it will be too hot, I was pleasantly surprised. Apart from not being too hot it was delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients that goes into their food. Not to forget the service, we were warmly welcomed and looked after the whole time. Any dishes we were unsure of someone was happy to explain it to us. This will now be the only place I go for Indian food.
The food is great, especially the breakfast. Went there on Sunday for the fourth time in a row and it never disappoints.
Opened our takeaway tonight and before even tasting I knew that they are making more effort and are changing things. Food delivered very hot and fresh, tasted great and will be ordering more frequently as long as the quality stays this way. Well done guys! (And glad I didn’t have to use deliveroo - so many mistakes.)

This place is near to my climbing gym in Kennington and went there for dinner around 10:15. We were the only people there. The decor is nice with mood lights. Dishes were served artistically. Mango lassi was amazing. Rest of the food was cooked well but a bit bland for my taste. Also heavy on pocket as they have min 20£ pp requirement.
Excellent food - a chic indian that even David Cameron used to eat from! Take away is recommended as they are usually swift and the food is of the highest quality.
Food was very nice though took a little while to come out. Dining in was delightful as the inside setting of the restaurant is fancy. Wait staff were not very enthusiastic. Came back here twice, and second time ordered take away. When we order take away it seemed better value for money with the portion size.
The dishes are all wonderfully prepared with proper spicing.
Service was very good and the room pleasant. If you like Indian food this is a
must.

The KT is our neighbourhood favourite. It is the perfect mix of the genius host, Kowsar, the extremely polite and efficient front of house team and the seasonally changing food. Yes, this is a Indian that actually has monthly changing specials, reflecting the seasons. I always look at the specials first and almost always find at least 2 dishes I like eating. The food itself is delicious and in rich, generous portions.
The take-away, which used to be underwhelming, has also greatly improved again.
Having had the takeaway i was expecting good thinks from my visit for my girlfriend's birthday. The lamb and bindi dishes were very tasty and authentic.
Great veggie options!. As a veggie I usually struggle to find good options in places that are not specialist veggie restaurant or I'm left disappointed by the lack of thought gone into none meat meals. Kennington Tandoori was great and plenty of good quality options -not just one veggie curry to keep us herbivores happy but meals that have obviously been well thought out. The Palak Dall is delicious!!! I will be going back very soon!

Some people say that Hot Stuff has better food, but they're not really comparable, Hot Stuff is less upmarket for one thing.
One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in London, this is not a dirt-cheap curry house, nor an overpriced white-linen-tablecloth venue, just a nice neighbourhood restaurant that serves great food at honest prices. The decor is very elegant yet simple, with soft lights and dark walls, and the service is attentive yet unintrusive.
The menu is extensive with many familiar dishes and a number of regional specialities, with a short list of seasonal dishes changing regularly. The summer squash and chicken curry is one of my favourites, but almost everything is worth trying. The eponymous tandoori is always delicious, charred yet juicy, and the assorted tandoori platter makes a perfect starter.
Definitely the place to go if you happen to crave tandoori or curry in this side of the Thames.

Owners hosted us for the dinner and has a great time and company with my son. Good food, clean and cozy atmosphere, hospitality and good company; what else would one to ask to have a nice dinner with loved ones.
Definitely recommend Kennington Tandoori to have nice Indian meals and conversations with your family and friends.
It's quite a decent place. I think they're included in the Michelin guide. The place has a nice ambiance.
The food was delicious. But I didn't like the tarka daal. Samosa was overpowering by the sauce. You can barely taste the samosa. . The salted lassi was great.
Service was quick and efficient. I think they are run by Bengali people.
The atmosphere was nice. The dinner date will be nice over here.
I will be visiting them again soon.
Best curry house in the area by far, just excellent. Also a rare example of the food being basically as good as a takeaway as it is in the restaurant itself, which is hardly ever the case. No brainer to take out from here again, but also the restaurant is incredible too, will 100% go back

I went to this restaurant today. It was great inside, and the food was very delicious. I had tandoori chicken, lamb sheek kebab, daal makhani, and pilau rice with mango lassi as drink. The mango lassi topped everything, and near second was the sheek kebab. I did not like their daal makhani. Tandoori was tender but it lacked the spice "kick". Overall, good food.
Awesome experience. After a long hike we were hungry and tired. We were greeted and seated without a long wait. Food was delicious especially the King prawn and puri . Service was very friendly and attentive. Thank you!!

It's a small restaurant, which I don't mind, but the lighting is so dark, i found it a little off-putting. Other than that, no concerns. I'd still go back!
The food is always freshly made and packed with authentic flavour. Have ordered both sit in and delivery and have always enjoyed the meals. Quality is outstanding
My sea food is always a brilliant choice. At dinner they have a take out meal deal and their sit in menu is massive for choice! We always get Tandoori Grills here and it's one of the best places for it 😍🙌
Really nice food, real value for money. Excellent friendly service I certainly recommend here and hope to be back soon. The tandoori lamb chop was really good.
Absolutely spot in meal.... Had the mixed starter which I would definitely recommend. Full advisor biryani which came with a pastry top! The lamb was very tender and the doll was not too hot. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend.
Also do very good non alcoholic drink KT Thirst Quencher.

Lovely meal out last night at kennington tandoori . Called in by chance, was served straight away and the meal was gorgeous. My husband had the vegetarian option of gunpowder potatoes and Chilli paneer, which he said was lovely.
Vary friendly chef and the all the staff. Food is excellent, taste and aroma unbelievable, delicious and mouth watering! I just love it!
