Today was the second time I visited Bon Appetit, all I can say is the food is absolutely delicious. Not you usual take-out fare here, more like proper restaurant quality. Really made my evening!
I highly recommend giving the shawarma a go, it's wonderful
Visited this joint before a night out, food was amazing, surprising to say the least as i expected a mundane meal from the high street, i loved the shawarma wrap and especially their kebbeh! price wasnt bad at all either
The most authentic Palestinian restaurant in the area , it’s a hidden gem between Aldgate and Tower of London, They have welcoming friendly staff, and incredibly delicious food, even if you are not close by, it’s worth travelling to enjoy the most delicious food. I highly recommend visiting them, I’ll also revisit them. Enjoy more authentic home made food. Also their unique drinks
I had the grilled whole seabass at this welcoming and friendly family-run business. The portion was big and good value for the price. They get their fish fresh daily. So good, I had it three days in a row on my visit to London. I'm happy to support this local business.
I’ve been going to their food truck in Tabard St food market next to Borough station for almost 3 years and decided to give the restaurant a try. The baba ghanoush and hummus are the best I’ve ever had and the bread is always soft and warm. The falafel and shish taouk here is also amazing! Not a bad word to say. The owner Ahmad is so friendly and all the staff are attentive. I highly recommend this as very reasonably priced halal lebanese spot whenever you are in the area!
Wonderful Lebanese food served in a humble interior which can still accommodate about 20 people inside.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s a popular place with lots of repeat customers asking for take out so if you are aiming for lunch before a meeting please take this into account.
First time ever trying Lebanese food and it was fantastic. I came over with a Lebanese friend so I could ask her if she approved the food and she did so that was great. The waitress was super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely come back to this place
Ate here on a Friday night and again on the following Saturday night the food and experience was that good 👍
The restaurant is so authentic producing the best kebabs I’ve ever had! The kofta were juicy and flavoured to perfection. The falafel and kibbeh is fantastic too! I’ve never had such falafel in my life - so authentic and light! Kibbeh is a must try too, the seasoning on point! The portion is fab too for the price, it’s completely proportional. If you’re thinking of giving this place a go, please do as you will not regret it! The hostess is lovely and the place is popping so has a great atmosphere too. Very accommodating restaurant with the most delicious food, one I will return to many a times so long as I’m in London!
This restaurant is one of my favourite go-to local spots. The warm & friendly lady at front of house, Dina, makes the restaurant feel like a second home. The food is authentic, TASTY & the Arabian music adds the perfect ambience to compliment the delicious food. The dishes are packed full of flavour - don't forget to try the salad; it's absolutely divine. Tangy, zesty, fresh, with a whole lotta crunch. So good!
If you're local or just fancy a taste of authentic Lebanese cuisine, definitely try out this hidden gem 💎
First time visiting London and this place was my favorite meal of the trip! If you’re ever near Aldgate/Aldgate East or Tower of London it’s a must visit for lunch or dinner. The owner was extremely friendly and took great pride in taking care of his patrons dining inside. Great place for takeout as well.
The staff here were so kind ! I got the chicken shish wrap and fattoush salad. Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed ! My friend got the chicken shawarma plate and again it hit the spot ! The chicken seasoning is probably a bit different to what you’re used to - those warm spices of cinnamon (I think) are pretty prominent in the shawarma so it’s just something to note. But other than that it’s great and I was told by the staff that they’re open till late - usually 1am or 2am depending on how busy it is !
For the discerning late night adventurer this is hands down one of the best middle eastern take aways in east London. Popped in after the cinema as I was craving a shawarma. Saw this had a 4. 7 with 700+ reviews so gave it a try. It's unassuming from the outside but the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the falafel, Hummus, shish taouk wrap and chicken shawarma wrap and oh my goodness the food was delectable. Have been to the middle east myself and the food here was very authentic and tasty. The shawarma was so juicy and well spiced and we loved the chargrill taste to the taouk. Mega crispy falafel even after a short walk home. Cannot fault it wish we lived closer.
