I love this place. It's cheerful, cozy and clean. The service is fast and friendly. The food tastes great with lots of choice and very generous portions. Definitely a place to come regularly.
Stopped in London for the weekend. If you are after a good place to eat, on a budget,this is the place to go. Can't recommend it more. Service was fantastic. Made me an all day breakfast even though it was later than his normal time and my wife burger and chips. Food was fantastic!! Even had apple pie after,which was fantastic. Will definitely visit again if I'm down in london

Amazing and cheap!! Quiet little spot run by a very dedicated owner. Huge portions cooked perfectly from fresh! Very friendly owner, offered tea on the house after our food too. Spot on! Would definitely recommend, don’t be put off by how quiet it is.
I and my family have known the owner Mehmet for more than 30 years. We moved from Battersea but go out of our way to pop back and say hello. The same fantastic service and dedication to ensuring the best service for his customers has always been his top priority.

It's a shame that there was people right outside the door smoking because it stunk and made me not want to eat

For the most part he runs kitchen and service by himself, and he will always treat you like family. The food (I always go for jacket potatoes) is very good and generous portions.

Me that live here and my friends who came from Dublin decided to have a hamburger and we stopped at Starburge and it was the best experience we had, the food is simply delicious and the best, the service is exceptional, the best service we have ever had in London. We were amazed at how agile, polite and careful the owner of the place is, yes, the owner himself who served people and was the best service we've ever had. Very generous food portions tasty food and great atmosphere. The staff are so friendly. If you love vintage decor this is a well preserved gem. With original tables and chairs and tiles. Highly recommend this place.
