Decided to have a F&C dinner for 2. Bought 1 small, 1 large (the difference is just £1 between the two) and a large fries.
Fish was really good. Light batter, chunky moist fish. Not oily at all but with a crunchy outside all over. Chips were good as well. Portions are generous and we couldn’t finish
Such a lovely local cafe with really friendly members of staff. They're very accessible and have a range of clients and it's a great place to go for an informal lunch, breakfast or brunch. I usually have their roast beef, or lamb and the fresh veg is delicious. For £6 it's a great homely cooked meal
I’ve visited this place twice in one week,as the fish & chips are world class.
The prices are very fair, and if you like Poppy’s fish & chips which isn’t cheap, then you’ll love this place,as it’s half the price of Poppy’s!
You can see from the picture everything is cooked to perfection, and I rate thi

Really not bad place to have some quick fish and chips fix. The chips were a let down but the fish was lightly crispy outside and soft inside.
The food is great here! The new kebab menu is exactly what you would want and the service matches the food quality. I had the chicken kebab which comes with salad and pitta bread. Would definitely recommend.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend this place majority the fish is soggy the textures disgusting the chips are undercooked if not raw this place really needs a good refurbished as well as the guy Behind the Counter who just can't be bothered
Fresh and tasty food at very reasonable prices.
Clean and tidy with friendly and helpful staff
