Honestly, as good as the food is, it’s the banter with the staff that brings us back every week! Charmaine is a dream - remembers your usual order, cracks a joke and is genuinely happy to help you. Ozzie/007 is almost as suave, but still brilliant at having a laugh and always asking how you are/things are going based on remembering your last chat. Having the place opposite work is definitely handy, and the prices are great for what you get. Don’t change, dream team! 👏🏻
The food was decent, portions are generous and prices are very good for what you get.
We were served by the lovely Charmaine; she was super sweet and made the whole experience great for me and my friends. Would definitely revisit if she's behind the counter!

I ordered cod fish and chips! Freshly cooked, crunchy breading or coating but soft and juicy fish meat inside. The chips were not oily and rightly cooked. I did enjoy this meal! Neat presentation in the box and the chef hss been pleasant. Generally the shop is clean and tidy.
The staffs are all very friendly and the price for meal is reasonable.
The fried chicken and chips are quite large but can’t get old of them.
It’s a pity that there’s only one table to seat so sometimes can’t eat inside.
This chippy is one of the best I've ever eaten in. The food is fantastic and the chips are especially amazing. Coupled with the great service it's hard to beat.

Excellent choice, vastly superior to the Fish an Chip shop offering way down on the other end of road. Surprisingly well priced.
Only issue is parking was not easy but past the shop on the left theres spots about 50 metres down.

2nd day having the cod burger & chips, the cod burger is fantastic, it’s made with real battered cod 😍 let’s just say I’m some what addicted 😍 the guys that work there are absolutely lovely & very attentive
I’m not exaggerating when I say the wings are the best I’ve had in my life. Born and raised in London so naturally a chicken shop is my go to so when I say the best in my life I’m comparing it to 200+ chicken shop experiences and it’s mad. Words can’t describe the quality, size, taste of these wings. Amazing

Very nice fish and chips, the vinegar was a good proposition. Would recommand.
The chips are on point, but the big issue is that the resturant doesn't accept card payment for under £5, which make it problem and forces you to purchase more.
