I was in the neighborhood and was on my way to the bus stop when torrential rain happened and it was raining for a while. Popped in to Gail; and grab coffee and a pastry.. Staff are friendly and had a interesting conversation with one of the staff, that she never tried the almond chocolate croissa
Good selection of baked goods and nice coffee. Always busy but service is generally quick and the staff are very friendly. It is pricey , especially if you’re sitting in. And there’s not a lot of seating choices. Perfect for picking up a coffee and a croissant!
Gail’s Baker in Clapham old town is our favourite. The staff are always welcoming, helpful and friendly. Over lock down there was a bit of a queue sometimes but it didn’t last long Abs was always worth the wait when you could pick up a fresh baked treat and a hot, or iced, coffee. We are longing for

Fantastic freshly baked breads, croissants, sandwiches and salads. The meat sausage rolls answer spinach Feta pastry roll was immense. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I'll be back! Thanks for an enjoyable experience. Feeling relaxed and satisfied x
Gail's bakery near the clapham common station was one of my favourite place to visit in the morning for a decent croissant and 3 shot iced black. It was just 15 minute walk from my place and I can get a bus to get to Vauxhall to go to work. I felt happy to find a great iced coffee in London, cause I

Always delicious and my favourite spot in Clapham for coffee & breakfast. You really can’t go wrong with anything from here!
Good croissant and cinnamon rolls. Service a bit chaotic, but ok overall :) Ps.: prices are a bit high
Fantastic coffee and pastries but if I could make one suggestion, seperate the chocolate in your pain au chocolat so they’re not stacked on top of each other 😊
Very friendly customer service. Delicious selection of pastries. We left we a bag full of goodies and enjoyed every single one.
