Brilliant place in Belsize Park. Hidden gem which more people should know of. Great meats, lovely service and awesome design. Really can’t get much better for your money elsewhere around. Owner is truly passionate about his place and you can tell by the food’s quality that he takes his restaurant really seriously. Highly recommended!
Wow. What an amazing find! Great selection of steaks, even a big 1kg tomahawk! Perfectly cooked. Awesome sauces. Staff were brilliant right from arrival. Very knowledgeable and guided us to the perfect order.... Will definitely be visiting again!! A+++
The food is very good but the price points completely wrong. The restaurant is next to KFC and a convenience store but is priced as if it was in Mayfair next to the park. If the owner doesn't review his prices it will have the same fate as the previous restaurant in the same location. Also they were handing out fliers for the lunch menu on Saturday, but when inside we were told that it was only valid Mon-Fri, the bait and switch was a little disingenuous... ...the food was very high quality however.
Music and atmosphere were pretty good. But steaks were not my taste and not recommended that much.

We visited Alps kitchen twice last week, whilst we were in London and I was receiving treatment at the Royal Free hospital. Alp was so friendly and very welcoming. Our meal was perfect,simple but delicious, grilled chicken with a fabulous salad and the most amazing fries ! Some lovely warm bread and butter with olives also accompanied our white wine which made it a most marvellous meal.We enjoyed it so much we returned with two friends at the end of our week and they were both equally impressed.
We wish Alp and his attentive staff well during these most difficult of times and hope very much to dine in his restaurant again when we are back in London next January!
This is an amazing place. In London for a few days on business and stumbled across this gem. Had the cheeseburger, fries and sweet potato fries...omg...why isn't this place heaving? Everything and I mean everything about my meal was perfect. This man knows his craft, he's passionate and he really cares. If I lived in London I'd be eating here 3 or 4 times a week. Give it a go; you will not be disappointed!
Tried Alp's Kitchen for the first time last night and had a PHENOMENAL experience. High quality food, very good service and fine wine to top it all off. Real fine dining. The owner truly cares about his customers and always strives for perfection. Will definitely be going back there soon!
Walked in this Friday evening and you wouldn’t know the restaurant had recently opened. Service was absolutely exception, and the food was even better.
Atmosphere is modern, warm and casual yet the service is what you would receive and expect in a formal restaurant. You can stop by for a cocktail at the bar or buy top quality meat from the butchers counter or sit down for a fab meal. Try the veal, chicken paillard and the meatballs, delicious!
