Had a wonderful party at Hugo’s last night to celebrate my birthday. Service was excellent, food really tasty, and arranging it was a dream, thanks to Nick. He’s really easy to work with. Hugo’s is perfect size for around 70 people, especially if you want ample space to dance. But the place is just as perfect for Sunday brunch, Saturday drinks or Tuesday dinner. We live in the neighbourhood and it’s one of our favourite places to go for a bite and drink. They also do great breakfasts
I have been going to Hugo's for over 10 years and it never fails to tick all the boxes.
Nick and his staff are so accommodating and friendly, the vibe is always just right, the food is delicious and the Bloody Mary is best of any I have ever had.
It's safe to say that Hugo's holds a special place in my heart and I am never disappointed. I'd move in if I could! 😂👍🏼🙌🏼
Had a lovely brunch the house pasta was to die for will be back can spot and lovely staff
We visited Hugo's last night as a group of Ladies who witnessed a tradegy nearby and entering the restaurant, were greeted by two of the most welcoming polite staff/ owner who were more than entertaining. The food & wine were beautiful.
We were more than impressed and all of us have said "That's definitely a place we will return to!"
Thank you
Delicious food, so flavorful, with clear labeling of gluten-free items for those of us who need it. Beautiful, complex wine, with excellent service, and warm & friendly management. Decor is charming and soothing, beautiful details but unpretentious. Lovely patio seating on Lonsdale which is ridiculously charming side street. Even had some live music the other night. Will go back and back.
Charming restaurant, excellent food, good service we have been to this restaurant several times. Cosy atmosphere highly recommend a visit.
Amazing restaurant with the most amazing staff! Went in on Christmas Eve and the customer service was the best! Food was delicious x Keep it up!
If you are looking to have a private function - look no further. Hugo’s has it all, fabulous decor, amazing staff and gorgeous food. And dealing with the lovely Nick makes the lead up to your party stress free and hassle free. I highly recommend Hugo’s
Great food, great atmosphere and brilliant staff. Highly recommend.
Lovely interior and absolutely wonderfull staff. I'd love to come back next time I'm in London.
This place is a true winner, the owners make you feel as if you have been coming for years. Best customer service I have had in a long time.
Great food, mahoosive portions, good prices and easy to park.

Just wonderful, and the food is amazing!!!
Hugo's is a great little place to grab lunch or dinner. Their outside is lovely especially in the summer! Great little find to pop in if you are in the area!
Tasty tasty tasty!. Lovely atmosphere, ate on a Friday evening, had a duck crispy duck salad from the specials to start, beautifully presented, nice mix of textures. Main course was the smoked haddock and poached egg, really good , egg cooked to perfection cut into it a satisfying ooze of yoke to eat the tasty haddock. finished with a cheese board, grapes a little past there best but a generous amount of cheese, double port £4.80. Friendly approach to service,
Dropped into Hugo's one evening with friends for a quick dinner. It was late and we were in a bit of a rush so it was a case of main courses only. I had a burger with spicy guacamole - it was excellent and the guacamole lived up to its name. Superb chips too. There were no complaints from my friends either, one of whom raved about their risotto dish whilst the other enjoyed her pasta (although there portion was perhaps slightly small, or that was her excuse for stealing my chips at least).
The wine list was pretty extensive. They had two decent beers on tap, and a few bottled beers which looked interesting although limited time meant they couldn't be explored properly. The atmosphere is cozy and warm despite it being a Wednesday and quite quiet. We'll be back.
Morning after the night of the office Christmas party and needed a decent breakkie.
The full English served til late was the perfect cure. Subbing out the mushrooms for a n extra sausage was a masterstroke.
Very nice indeed. Hugo's always delivers
Great place either for evening dinners or buffet lunches and those guitar evenings are super special!
Fantastic lil’ enclave tucked away on Londsdale Road, Queens Park. Dog friendly restaurant with great hamburgers and brunch affairs.
Every Thursday night, they run a open-mic session with some of the most talented artists performing.
Hosted a dog event at Hugo’s on 15 Feb 2020. Nick was extremely accommodating and supportive. Highly recommended location for private functions for its food, large spacious venue and flexible owner.
Hugo's takes the cake for ambiance. Great, airy setup and even nicer on a sunny day. The warm, country style interior is always pleasant. They recently redid their daytime menu and you can now build a DIY English breakfast which is great. Staff is very friendly, and they often have live music (there's a piano in the back). We haven't had dinner there in a while, so not sure if they've redone that menu or not, but in the past it was very good (the lamb, if I remember correctly, was terrific). I feel lucky to have this restaurant just around the corner in our neighborhood. I could go on but suffice to say this is a great place to be a regular at. Nice complement to Ostuni and Jack's down the block. Note: Hugo's scrambled eggs are some of the best I've had in as long as I can remember.
We just had a quick afternoon drink at Hugo's: I liked the quiet atmosphere and the low light filtering from the windows, which coloured the wood of the restaurant room with warm tones. A couple of guys were rehearsing some music with guitar, piano and a saxophone, while we were sipping a nice smoothie and a prosecco with sloe gin cocktail. All good, although I would have liked a slightly friendlier attitude by the waitress, which although was not unwelcoming looked a bit abrupt to us.
Breakfast was amazing (self built)!!
Service wasn't. 10 minutes until order taken and not very organised and rushed. Nice outside seating!
I've been here numerous times now and food and service has always been consistently good.
Food is relatively is high quality and there is always something interesting to try from the specials board.
They do some special nights during the week such as 'Steak night', that are very good value. (Two ribeye steaks and two glasses of wine for £30).
You can also just pop in for a few drinks, if you're not hungry.
Highly recommend.
In this instance it was as a wedding venue. The staff were really, really polite and professional, the meal was very good and the atmosphere was lovely. Parking was free when I arrived after 3pm (but it may be free all day) and the whole street is available (certain businesses are closed on the weekend so you just park in their spaces). Overall a great experience.
Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced for the area, though that means still a but pricey.
£12 for a burger, but it was good.
Lunchtime paella buffet is really good and good value.
Nice quiet place overall.
Tucked away in one of the side streets of Queens Park area, you would hardly believe that you could stumble upon such a wonderful and charming place as Hugo's. Very relaxing interior with absolutely beautiful lighting inside and outside, just makes you feel like you are on a coast far from where you actually are.
Another surprise i had was their burger, which beat many of those that i have tried from various burger joints in last almost 10 years in London. Great and very friendly owners and stuff makes this little gem my favourite place in this area.
Nice place and food. They have now started to add a service charge to the bill which I find cheeky. We used to go Hugo's for lunch from work but, due to the prices have stopped, £15 for lunch is not reasonable and possible to do every lunchtime. I would suggest they have a cheaper lunchtime menu and may get more customers through the door. It's usually quite at lunchtime can always get a table.
One of my favourite spots to go to for brunch in Queens Park! Really tasty and wholesome food, a lovely atmosphere and great service. Just a few minutes walk from the main street of Queens Park it offers a much more relaxing time than many of the cafés closer to the station. Thoroughly recommended!
