All in all we were really impressed. This looks like a nice enough pub from outside, and it went way beyond our expectations.
Lovely experience for our wedding anniversary! Very pleasant staff. Hadn't been since well before covid. Beautifully renovations, especially the garden! Shade if you like. or on the verandah. Good choice of food and drink. We'll go again!
Really great Sunday roast. Service was super quick and friendly staff too. I would definitely recommend the pork roast it was very well cooked. The roast potatoes were slightly over cooked. Good all around though!

We had a lovely family meal out (afternoon lunch) for my sister's 33rd birthday. There were 5 of us total (four adults plus a 3 month year old baby). We all enjoyed our meals and the pub had a nice cozy atmosphere. The place is definitely family friendly, as we weren't the only ones there for lunch with a baby.
We were at The Plough today for my mum's 80th birthday. We were a party of 11 and everything went really well, Sue made sure our orders went smoothly. Our waitresses Ellie & Sasha were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us and made the whole occasion wonderful. Thank you one and all and see you again soon 👍🏻
Amazing duck salad. Sam the chef did an exceptional job, the staff went out of their way to give me such amazing service. The selection of drinks is good incredible, I would definitely recommend. I look forward to coming to this establishment again!
Has 45th Birthday food and drinks yesterday evening. The service was great, the staff friendly & the food good. The catered for adults and children. Had a lovely evening with family and friends.
The food is value for money, fresh, hot and very tasty. The staff were so accommodating and really enjoyed their interaction with my guests and I.
I highly recommend this establishment it has lovely decor and also a nice garden.

Was served today by Jon. Lovely young man with great customer service skills. A very welcoming atmosphere and the food was gorgeous, so filling, we had to get a take away box so we could finish it later.
Came here today lovely looking Pub and food was great. Was served drinks by Elliott who was really welcoming and helpful when recommending me a drink. I had the seafood linguine made by Linda and Jordan which was amazing. Will definitely be coming again👍🏻👍🏻
I made an impromptu first-time visit to the Plough with my husband for weekday lunch.
We were both very impressed. The first thing we noticed was the fresh and stylish decor as we stepped through the door. We also received a cheerful welcome from the bar staff.
It's clear that The Plough is achieving a good balance between serving its core drinking audience and those who want a great dining service. Really lovely interiors, clean and attractive Ladies bathroom (which I'm a stickler for), polite servers, quick service but most of all the food was delicious and great value, I have to say.
I've just phoned Sam to ask about something and he was ever so helpful and gracious - so here's a thank you to Sam!

Nice pub with good atmosphere and great outdoor seating area. Nice sense of space. Shout out to Elliott who served us drinks and wowed us with his enthusiasm and panache. Great staff = happy (returning) customers!!

Amazing new fit out and clean smell
Completely marred by the inhospitable staff that would be more than happy to chat away for minutes when I'm waiting for a drink.
After years of avoiding this pub for years after several poor experiences I have definitely cast this "pub" to the graveyard pile to join the Lordship with the worst pubs on lordship lane
All I want is attentive staff, that's it
