I wanted to leave a review and a 'thank you' note. I have been coming to this place for 3 years, almost daily, I got to know the staff, I always recommend it to all the fashion/creative offices around East London for food quality and service. It's a great spot and the staff becomes your friend. The more you visit it the more you'll enjoy it. Thank you Bread&Butter...it's time for me to move but I shall always visit when I am in Haggerston.

I ordered the wrong thing and they were more than happy to change my order for me even though they had already made it, at no extra charge. Lovely space, too.

It’s a beautiful place!! I tried almond croissant and it was not too good in comparison with the price. However is big enough. The cake with apple and blueberries is so delicious! I truly recommend it.

My friend and I decided to do a bakery crawl on a Saturday morning and this was our second stop where we had brunch at 10am. I was surprised to see an almost empty café as I had expected it to be fully seated already but so glad that wasn't the case. Waitresses were very friendly, gave us some menus and gave us a spacious table. We both went for the blueberry pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and granola and I ordered a cappuccino on the side. The pancakes were absolutely lovely, thick and fluffy and it came in a stack of 4! For the price of £8.50 this portion was completely insane, not to mention the quality of it! I really enjoyed them, especially the granola which added a nice crunch to the texture. Coffee was big, nice and strong - just how I like it! In total, I only paid £11.30 which was just fantastic value for East London! I would recommend coming here between 9-10:30am on the weekend, as it got so busy after that time window suddenly. But then people do leave pretty quickly after finishing their food. By 11:30am it was back up to 50% full then. I really liked this café and would definitely come back and try the savoury options on the menu next time.

Its a great place to work from home, read a book, grab a cute breakfast with a friend. The seating is super vibes - outdoor and indoor. Very friendly and accommodating service and they have some great breakfast options! We both had breakfast plates and they were very filling. We’ll be back for sure :)

Fresh brunch options always delivering on flavour. Great healthy and tasty smoothies, warm friendly people staffing the place, great coffee at non-obnoxious prices currently plaguing the area. Loads of seating, dog friendly. What's not to love and cherish?

Such a cute cafe! First time I had the sausage and egg sandwich, which was delicious and quick. Next time I had the English breakfast, and it was delicious and filling! Would definitely go back.

Best (vegan) pancakes I've had so far in London and I have been to a few places, believe me! I liked very much the place and I enjoyed the atmosphere / vibe. I also had a fresh juice ( ABC - apple, beetroot, carrot) and it was delicious. I totally recommend it and will go back again to try other things from the menu.

Can’t comment on much as just got a take away carrot cake but it was one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had. Light and moist and thinly iced. Pricey!!!
