I came to this restaurant about 6 months ago with friends and we opted for the 'all you can eat formula' that's around £25 each one. Meat is fresh and it actually tastes very good. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of them. A big buffet offering sides, salads, bread, pasta and many other foods was available!
The meat choice was wide! You'll be full and satisfy after your dinner in Preto!
Really nice place for meat lovers. I was able to choose from different varieties of meat and service was nice. This is one of my favorite places :))
First Brazilian restaurant. Went there when my family came to London for my birthday. Such a nice place!
We had lunch there and opted for the "all you can eat" option plus buffet. Firstly, we went to the buffet and picked at the different meals. Everything was nice, some meals were similar to the way we cooked them in Italy as the potato salad.
When we came back to our table, they were already serving the first dish of meal. Very efficient service! The "all you can eat" works like that: they give you three colors. Green stands for "go on serving food", yellow means "I'm taking a break", and red "I'm done, no more food for me".
My brother, boyfriend and dad kept on with the green card. Instead my mom and I turned the red one almost immediately. "All you can eat" are not really for me.
Anyway, the place was pretty nice. I had a great time and tried great food. Only negative side, it was a bit pricey but it was a nice experience.
Preto is a Brazilian chain restaurant with branches across London. For all those that love meat, this is the place to be!
You'll be greeted by a very friendly group of staff, who may even seem slightly over friendly to those from the UK. The décor of the restaurant has a modern and clean feel to it and there is the feeling that you have been transported away to South America with the lively music and Brazilian flags plastered on the walls.
The menu is extremely easy to follow. Effectively there is a set price to pay and one has access to an extremely large amount of meat and vegetable dishes. Vegetable dishes are placed in the centre of the restaurant where customers are required to serve themselves. Meat dishes on the other hand are brought to your table on skewers whereby a member of staff will serve the amount of meat you require. Types of meat dishes on offer include chicken, pork and beef. These have all been cooked and seasoned in many ways, varieties including; barbequed and grilled.
The meat at this restaurant truly is the star of the show. Servers (or Passadors as they are referred to) literally walk around the restaurant with various cuts of meat on large skewers. Instead of hovering around you, servers know whether you require more portions of meat with the coloured disc on your table.
For those wishing to savour the treats of Brazil this a must go restaurant. It hard not to leave on an empty stomach as there is such a bounty of meats available. My personal recommendation is that you arrive on an empty stomach if you are to get value for money. The staff are extremely friendly, though I did find them to be a little pushy for my group to order desserts at the end despite us being so full up on meat. Regardless of this minute issue, this is a great restaurant to meet and mingle over some good meats.
If you are a big meat fan, PRETO is the way to go!
Indeed, the place is located just a 10 minutes away walking distance from Piccadilly Circus and the menu has a fixed price of 20 £ that can vary depending on drinks and other extras. What do you get ? UNLIMITED Meat as beaf, lamb, pork, spicy chicken, etc… until you do not say stop, the waiters keep coming with different options.
Also, included in the price there are starters, but my advice is to not eat lots of them, and leave room for the different kinds of meat in which they are specialized. The place is quite busy at nights, but the service is very quick and efficient.
I would recommend it!
If you are passionate about meat… you will be there at least once a week!
We booked for a dinner with friends. We spent £42 each for the buffet + “all you can eat” menu + pint of beer + service costs (12,5% of the amount, kind of high to be honest).
The buffet is very well furnished, and the quality of food seems to be good. I especially liked the various beans platters, the fried dough and vegetables balls, the cheese flavoured bread and the fried banana, very typical food!
The meat is also good, especially the lamb. Some cuts may be too salty, and the leg of beef was definitely weak taste-wise, but the majority of the other cuts were very good. The spicy sausages were also appreciated.
The quality/price ratio as a whole is average, if it weren’t for some throwbacks it could even be better. The quantity/price ratio is clearly positive (that is, if you’re hungry!).
The waiters are also very polite and funny, which is always a plus.
I would very much advice to try this place!
Wow. In my point of view(I went to a lot of restaurants serving beef) is the best steak house in London, eat meat as much you want for less than £30 is yummy including the side dishes what you take from self serving area. For 4 people with wine, sparkling water, and beer to pay less than £185 it says a lot. Tasty food, nice waitressing, plus great house wine.
One of the nice Brazilian restaurants. The meat is very delicious. It's a system that keeps coming until you say stop. My advice for meat lovers is not to eat too much of the salad at the buffet, leave more room for meat:)
My family had the most incredible dining experience at Preto Brazilian Steakhouse! It’s a unique treat that you definitely shouldn’t miss!
For those new to the world of rodizios, it’s a typical Brazilian steakhouse experience that offers a mouth-watering buffet with a fantastic variety of hot side meals and fresh salads. So, whether you’re a meat enthusiast or prefer lighter options, there’s something for everyone!
Great grill and wide choice of salad, heaven for meat lovers! The staff is also very friendly and serving frequently, the external layer is a bit salty but the inside is juicy and tender, goes perfect with pickles!
The food here is AMAZING! The quality of the meats combined with the variety makes this place my number 1 Brazilian Barbecue restaurant.
The waiters are really friendly and quick. The chefs are really talented and professional with their cuts, it’s not often they cut too much or too little, it’s usually a perfectly cooked slice of meat.
The sides and salads are really flavourful and fresh for an open buffet. And I also noticed that apart from the classic meats, the restaurant has a rotation of new recipes/ meats which are also as tasty.
The atmosphere is really likeable with latin themed decoration and the medium sized restaurant with spaced out tables makes for a calm and audibly tolerable environment.
It’s located in a central place in London and is easily accessible on the high street. There is indoor paid parking across the street inside of Chinatown.
The food here is great. If you like meat, this is the place for you. They just keep it coming. The beef rib is to die for.
Salads if you are that way inclined.
Highly recommended.
Lovely place quite unique in concept. The guys go around and give you pieces of fresh meat until you are full. Lots of different cuts, lovely meats and attentive service, the rest do the food is okeish. Overall would recommend for an experience. Gets quite hot and loud in there although. Usually you won’t need a reservation.
The quality of the food is good and if you're going to eat a lot then it's value for money. If you're not that hungry and only want a plate full then you're not getting your money's worth. It was a little too crowded but I did visit on a Saturday evening and they were able to fit me and my partner in without a reservation.
The food at this establishment is absolutely delightful. They serve barbecued meats on a regular basis, ensuring that you receive great value for your money. The buffet bar provides an extensive selection of fried sides and salads, although it seems that some of these sides have been left out for a while, as they do not taste fresh.
The service was excellent overall and the staff were friendly. I would definitely return in the future.

Lovely and tasty all you can eat cuisine / meat (with options of medium or well done) for a very good price of £27 per head minus drinks. The drinks were great too and most of the staff were friendly 👍 👌.
The rest rooms were clean as well 👌
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was all fresh and hot. The meat was cooked to perfection. Plenty of selection. Great location just 2 minutes from Apollo theatre. Lots of good pubs and shops near by and a short walk from Tottenham Court Road station.
It is our first time dining in. We avail the Rodizio grill. The food is okay. A few of the meat grills I would say are good. Their traditional Brazilian dishes are good. Experience wise not too bad. I think the price is reasonable. The ambience was well-lit but the small space between the tables is cramped. Service is good.
Good choice for those on keto diet. Loads of veg, meats and cheese. Quick service and nice atmosphere. Loved it.
