The Beehive - London - Photo album

First try of fish and chips in London and it did not disappoint. It was a large filet of cod with skin on and fried to perfection. The chips it came with were also excellent. I tried mushy peas for the first time and while the flavor wasn't bad, it isn't something I enjoy. Got to watch some snooker
Lovely LOVELY pub. Nice for a big get together or an intimate drink. Airy outside space and cosy indoor space. The drinks are always served with a smile and the food is incredible. It was here, where for the first time I have ordered a vegetarian roast and enjoyed it. It was the first time, as a veg
Nice food, had a few drinks too 😜
Good burgers and a generous portion size for the sweet potato fries. Delicious. We went there as a bit group with 7 babies and prams and were very well accommodated for. The only thing is that there is no formal changing station for children, with a changing mat balanced somewhat precariously on a
What a hidden nice surprise! I had the vegetarian Sunday roast and was incredible - nut loaf + goat cheese + nut loaf. Big portion and extra gravy! Really good price for value. I have to say that has been one of the best roast that I've tried in London.
A welcoming community pub with a mixed clientele reflecting the area. They have good range of drinks including an impressive array of malts and other spirits. They have three hand pumps, but only one, the Doombar was on, on the two afternoons I visited. It is why I have only given a four, although t
Excellent pub grub! Very much enjoyed my visit here, had the Lamb burger with Harissa which was very tasty, only gripe was that it maybe could have been a little spicier, but was cooked just how I’d like. The reason I’ve given 4* however is because of the general pub atmosphere which was overrun b
Lovely pub for a drink: spacious, light, good selection of beers and good service. The food is okay, but not amazing. Great place to go for a drink, and if you need to then have some food. Suggest stick to the burgers though.
The best burgers in the area by a long shot. Both the veggie and the beef options are extremely tasty. Good, honest-to-god chips, too! Well-deserved refurbishment is a nice touch. Knocking 1 star off for the yet-to-be-refurbished toilets...!
My local. Friendly bar staff. Be careful if looking for food as they are frequently not serving. The menu is mostly a variety of burgers (no complaints!) Including 3 vegetarian options. Charming little spot.
My local and I love it for the fantastic staff, beer and whiskies. Possible improvements: Food is decent, but only 5 days a week. Bit cold in winter. Rubbish gents' toilet. Music sometimes commercial radio and too quiet. Kids allowed in the evenings. Fix these issues and it would be perfect!
Great local pub. The food is great. I love the Sunday roasts. Owner and staff are lovely. They have a great selection of wines, beers and whiskey. The atmosphere is homely and warm.
I can't recommend The Beehive pub enough for your cosy and friendly pub needs! A group of us from work went here for our Christmas party and we were so well looked after by Alex and his team. The music and atmosphere is excellent and I have also heard from friends that the Sunday roast is fantastic.
Our first London pub. Great experience. Quiet, but not too quiet, mid week and no football happening. They took great care of this noobie American tourist family. Huge chunk of cod for the fish and chips - enough for two. It has been a long time since I've had malted vinegar with my fish - loved
Lovely proper local. Not many know about it you can be assured that most people there will live within half a mile or so. The Paul Partridge pub quiz is one of the best in south London. Burgers are decent too.
Great little pub tucked away in the back streets. They also do brunch from noon on weekends - it's tasty and really good value. Would be great to see more local beers either on tap / bottles.
The Sunday roast was amazing! One of the best I have had they have beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and trio! I had the pork and it was fantastic it melted in the mouth the gravy was home made and really tasty, the carrots and parnisps were caramelised with honey and butter I was told and they were to die
Very friendly, great selection of spirits, very welcoming to the pup too which was a pleasant surprise. A tiny bit disappointed the Beehive doesn't stock any honey beer despite the name ;) but can always get that down the road at the White Bear. Or the honey mead by Gosnells in Peckham, that would b
