Original review :Nice simple atmosphere, consistent quality of food and efficient service. This is an old time classic. My best item on the menu is by far the chops. Curries are tasty rather than over spicy. Lost a point due to the lack of innovation on the dessert menu
So I am adding to my original review after my most recent visit. The rating I gave was originally a 4 and has steeply reduced to 2. The service was without a courteous smile; functional. The kebabs were just okay, the chops were passable, the curry was average and the Naan was good . The only really good part of the meal was that the drink was served at a perfect temperature. We weren't even asked if we wanted dessert, not that the dessert menu offers anything that isn't frozen but that's not the point. Will I visit again... Probably not....A shame because this used to be one of my favourites
07/09/2015 back in there at the top. Outstanding service, food was bursting with taste and even the dessert brought over by the owner himself was just too good to resist. The standards had slipped and have risen to an all time high. The restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night. Definately back to being one of my regulars.
Experience 1: I had heard great things about Original Lahore and therefore was very excited about eating here. I surely liked the food here but I have definitely eaten better elsewhere. We ordered a portion of tandoori chicken, mango lassi, kadhai keema, roti and naan. I was really looking forward to their Tandoori Chicken but it was average at best. Kadhai keema was upto the mark and so was their mango lassi.
The service as well the ambience was fine. I will surely return to the restaurant to check other items on their menu and probably have a relook at my review as I felt the restaurant has much to offer given the number of people dining on a weekday. Probably, it was just a bad day for them in the kitchen and I shouldn't be biased by a single experience.
Experience 2:
So I visited them once again yesterday and the experience was delightful! Their lamb biryani is amazing and so is their butter chicken. It is now on my recommended places to eat in Hendon!!
Love the dine-in, and can't get enough with the take away. This place has made me fell in love with Biryani Rice. Still in search for a good one after I move back to my country.
Honestly felt like feasting royalty. We were so well-looked after on Friday night by the Manager, Ejaz. We were a party of 4 and trusted our host to order for us his best-to-impress dishes. First class service. He didn’t disappoint. Yum!
First time here and very much enjoyed 90% of the food, just the wings tasted non spicy.Loved the Karahi Ghost and the slightly overpriced Mix Grill. Long time since I've have Pakistani style food as most restaurants of this type are Indian and their food is different in a lot of ways and taste. Will be back before end of the year.Well done Abdullah and team.
We were taken to this restaurant by a friend who is a regular to the eating house . We have travelled through UK, Portugal and Spain for the last 6 weeks can very comfortably say that this was one of the highlights of our holiday dining experiences . The lamb and chicken kebabs were spiced and cooked fresh . The Lamb Nehari ( typically cooked for over 24 hours) was perfect . Not spicy but full of subtle herbal and spicy flavours. This was finished off with a biryani and chilli roti .
I came here with my girlfriend for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We really enjoyed the food we ordered and we're very happy with the service we received. We ordered the Chilli Paneer, Vegetable Biryani, Karahi Butter Chicken, Pilau Rice and the Tarka Daal. Although all the dishes were delicious the standout dish for both of us was the Chilli Paneer.
We recently ordered for takeout and the food was equally as amazing as when we dined in.
I had a takeaway the kebab roll was delicious and would definitely recommend 👌
Just right for proper Lahore cuisine - hard to fault their food. The mixed grill was executed to perfection - but the lamb chops and chicken wings were just too moorish...we sampled, nehari, karahi gosht, karahi bhindi chicken, chicken biryani and the Sunday meat pilau. Far too much delicious food. Could not finish so brought some home for later. Well Done Ijaz bhai - you got the right formula!!
Very good experience at the Original Lahore.
The service was superb; dishes arrived promptly and were made to a decent standard. Overall very impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. I’d say a pretty viable option if you are in the North West London area and don’t fancy the drive down to Wembley or Southall. Well done folks!

When hunger strikes, this is a great place to eat. Very good service, and a lovely atmosphere.
Also, you can bring your own alcohol, so you can have a lovely meal and enjoy your own drink, at your own pace. 😋😋
The food is amazing here, and as you can bring your own alcohol. You can have a great night out at a good price.
Thank you and I will be back soon!!! 😊

Absolutely beautiful,so delicious,friendly staff
Reasonably price, good customer service and food is prepared fresh. Very tasty chicken tikka naan rolls!
Enjoyed the dishes, very authentic and tasty with reasonable rates
If you like Indian food you have to try this place!! I have been in so many luxury Indian restaurants, but none of them have this food quality! Of course the restaurant itself is not fancy but the food is the best!!
The Lamb Briyany is the best in this place!!!
Clean looking and expensive looking natural tiles on the wall. Staff friendly enough, but struggled a bit with where to place food items on the table. Food came in good time. Food ok, but a couple of things just not quite to my taste, like the mint yoghurt sauce for the poppadoms. The restaurant layout seems a little strange with the till next to the door. It felt like a couple of staff members were stood over us for most of the meal. It would be better to move the till to the back of the restaurant, like most other places. From the outside, it doesn't appear to be an Indian restaurant; looks more like they serve kebabs, judging by the takeaway part, next door. I've never really noticed it being busy here.
Been coming here since 2003, yes it's that good, my favourites are the chilli paneer, lamb chops and lamb biryani
Amazing Pakistani Cuisine, the owner named is Mr Ijaz and he is such a nice person with amazing hospitality. A must visit for the whole family.
