I liked this tea room, which was perfect for our plan of laid back afternoon tea. They had one gluten free cake, a kind of flourless chocolate mousse cake and basque cheesecakes, which we had with iced coffee and peppermint tea. All was served by very sweet caring ladies!
Just to add my two cents and confirm what everyone else has said, this is a lovely place with a very chilled vibe where you can hang out and relax.
They weren't bothered that we just had tea and a cup cake (we happened to walk by after we had eaten dinner and decided to give it a try).
I said hello in Korean when I ordered, I don't think the girl was too impressed, but she was too polite to say anything 🤣
We'll definitely go back to try the food. A welcome addition to GG High St!
A nice local cafe. Lovely atmosphere, polite service. I had the vegetarian brunch which was quite basic but tasty. Would go again to try more things
Very neat little cafe - a very relaxing atmosphere combined with great desserts and excellent customer service - cannot find a single thing to criticise. Will definitely come back here sometime in the near future.

Awesome place with a lot of options for an afternoon tea or latte. beautiful and tranquil atmosphere. Now, my only disappointment was the velvet cake, being a little bit dry and unappealing. I think that's because the already cut all the cakes into slices, even though they use plastic wrapping is not the same freshness.
Fantastic place for breakfast. Amazing service. Will be returning again. Highly recommend!
Best Bingsu I've ever had! We tried the mango bingsu (large), the icecream is not very sweet (preferred) and the environment is cozy. Will definitely visit again!
Extremely lovely environment and atmosphere. However the food (albeit very tasty) was just quite small portions and wasn't particularly filling. £10 for a bagel and small toastie wasn't particularly worth it. Highly recommended for a coffee and a sit down!
Great little place, not your usual cafe, had some delicious noodles with very fresh prawn tempura.

Lovely cafe. Best cheesecake I have ever tasted. Everything is freshly made, one day I even saw their cheesecake on a table to let it cool down and the staff there are always very kind. They serve you and leave you alone (which I love) as opposed to other places where they keep coming to ask you if everything is ok. The decor is beautiful and they have plenty of books and magazines you can grab and read
Amazing place! Delicious afternoon tea & accommodating! (Vegan option was available for my friend) Great atmosphere, lovely hosts! Wish I could visit more often!
Outstanding quality food, lovely ambiance. Service a little slow but totally worth the wait as food was so tasty. For sure will be back
I contacted Cafe Macarong through Instagram to see if they could do a vegan afternoon tea. Although it is not on the menu they were so incredibly friendly, helpful anf were more than happy to accommodate! I couldn't recommend them enough, and the afternoon tea is such amazing value for London. One of the cheapest I have found here! I recommend booking ahead if you would like the afternoon tea. My friend had the regular afternoon tea and said the macaroons were delicious.
My new fav place for breakfast/brunch in London. The plates not only look very attractive, everything is very tasty. Absolutely delicious. Totally recommend!! A big variety os macarons too, I tried the oreo and the mango ones, super good!
Such a beautiful morning with a delicious breakfast at Cafe Macarong. Attentive staff and very friendly. Calming music playing on the background and green plants all over the restaurant area.
Cosy seats and very nice designs overall.
My husband and I want to return for the afternoon tea.
Keep up the good job 🥰
