Our most favourite Pub in London!
Great choice of drinks, 1st class Pimm’s and the bartenders are always very helpful.
There are inside and outside places for sitting.
They offer to watch sport events on big screens, movie nights, karaoke and pub quizzes.
You also can just sit there and lend a book
Great pub. Recently moved back in the area and so happy this pub hasn't changed. Owners are lovely, good beer selection, relaxed vibe and very clean. Discovered Super Scrabble was a treat. If you're in the area it's worth the walk to support this independent gem.
Super chill community pub. It was a quiet Friday night and on every table people were playing games and chatting over a pint. Really nice atmosphere. The owners are lovely too (and their cat)
Absolutely lovely place with some interesting crafted beers on tap. Friendly atmosphere and, of course, regular quiz nights.
Spent an evening here playing pool and drinking some nice craft IPA. They appear to have recently refurbished the place and I think they did a great job. The size of the pub is perfect, not too big and not too small. And best of all - they have a pool table.
Lovely staff, the pub quiz is fun but difficult! (Tues 8:30pm). Really enjoy the pool table. They have a cat (not always friendly)!

No food, but the vibe in this place is perfect and they have a 3 legged cat. Who needs food when you can hang with a 3 legged cat? Great place to hang out for a chill evening.

A proper pub. No food, but has a pool table, board games and an awesome jukebox. Run by a lovely local couple. Has an adorable pub cat that will claw your arm off.
Great beer, great service, and easily the best toastie ive ever eaten on top of it all. Recommend to all and any.

Lovely pub, reminds of my favourite pub in Munich, which closed (probably the reason why I moved to London). Great staff and very friendly (at least for my standards). Lovely, very cosy and makes me feel like home!

I used to live quite close to The Charlotte Despard and not being in walking distance of this incredible place was absolutely one of the hardest things about moving!

Fantastic local pub, can not recommend highly enough. Great selection of drinks, locally sourced beers and ales. Pub quiz on a Tuesday is a great laugh. As well as friendly three legged cat Legs to keep you company while you enjoy your pint.
One of the few pubs I've been to lately that I'm excited about going back to. Very good ales on tap which are very well kept/served (the latter a frustrating rarity in many London pubs), a great pint of Guinness (also peculiarly rare). Awesome place! Lovely people and great selection of beers. I really miss their weekly pub quiz -you can tell how much work they put into it and it's always a nice opportunity to meet new people.
A real diamond in the rough, which reminds me a lot of various bars me and my friends frequented whilst at University. It packs all of the charm of a real local pub, but looks and feels a little like a student union and there's nothing wrong with that at all. Great selection of drinks, friendly staf
