Normah's - London - Photo album

Cannot recommend it enough and cannot wait to be back. Incredible homey food and a really good selection of local options. The roti was out of this world, just melting in our mouths. The sea bass was super delicious and the lemon mint was a good cooler on the side. The stir fried rice was also reall
Family run, small, cosy cafe in Queensway Market. Amazing authentic Malaysian food. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. We had aubergine asam pedas, roti with dhal and mee goreng vegetables. Will definitely come back to try other dishes for sure!
Absolutely amazing, authentic Malaysian food (verified by a friend who is Malay!) The roti was the best I have had before, so fluffy and crispy, almost like the experience of having a croissant with how it crumbles. Casual environment, it is at a back of a shopping mall type space off Queensway. The
It’s so delicious! Highly recommend the beef rendang, the most delicious beef stew I have ever eaten, the beef is soft, sweet and spicy. It's really delicious with the roti, but the roti is too oily for me. The fish I take away is also delicious, it tastes like home cooking.
Hole in the wall, family run restaurant with absolutely delicious and authentic Malaysian food (verified by our Malaysian friends :)). Everything is made to perfection and best to get there earlier to ensure you get your preferred dish. Portion size is also perfect. Can't wait to be back for another
Some of the best Malaysian food in London at great value! Extremely authentic family run restaurant. I've been on 2 occasions and the food was incredible on both! On both occasions we ordered the beef Rendang with roti and prawn Laksa. The Beef rendang is a Malaysian staple and they've do it justi
Intimate place and delicious and flavorful food. We didn’t have a reservation but we’re able to be seated immediately at dinner time on a saturday. The king prawn laksa as incredible, and beef rendang was something else!!
Fantastic food tucked away in a corner of a market. Service was outstanding, and the food was all delicious (and can be made vegan). Make a reservation if you want to dine in, or be prepared to need to takeaway - it’s popular!
It was a cold and dark afternoon when I came out of Queensway Station. The bright lights of supermarkets and bubble tea across the road welcomed me. But I was here for something more than that. I turned and entered the beautiful maze that houses the restaurant run by Normah and her son. After half a
Delicious, hearty and flavourful Malaysian food with relaxed, friendly service. I went here with a couple of mates and between us we had the roti, sea bass, nasi lemak and laska - all of which I'd recommend.
Some of the best food in London. Phenomenal flavours, value and exquisite dishes. Normah’s is hidden away, but truly a delight. We had the roti dahl - the flakiest roti/flatbread ever. Noodles were the highlight - amazing flavours. Rendang was delicious. The fried chicken was more like it had been b
Don’t think: just order beef rendang with roti. Amazing amount of flavor in the rendang and the roti (flaky bread) falls apart in your hands, it’s so fresh with a slight sweetness to it. Perfect for dipping in the rendang. And all for under £10? Incredible. Trust me there’s no way you won’t want to
This was my first time I tried Malaysian food. To be honest, my expectations were very low because I’m not familiar with Malaysian cuisine. However, when we ordered some different kind of dishes, I figured that Malaysian cuisine may surprise me. Exactly that happened. Chicken and fried rice was awes
This is a hidden gem in London…. Family business and food it is just amazing. The flavours…. Just a piece of heaven. Please keep doing it like now!
I have never had Malaysian food before so comment on how authentic it is but in terms of quality it is incredible. Freshly prepared and delicious, staff are incredible and would really recommend Malaysian tea. The restaurant is no frills but it kind of adds to the atmosphere, it can get busy so coul
This nice little place is hidden in the Queensway market. Unfortunately I didn't book, so I had to wait for an hour... But it was worth it ! I had the "Asam pedas Seabass"(a while seabass cooked in a spicy tomatoe sauce). The place is very small and, when I was there, quite noisy in my opinion. Bewa
SERIOUSLY DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE 😝 Penantian yang berbaloi. Seriously good food. I was never a fan of asam pedas but this place has utterly converted me into one. (Just be careful of the tiny fish bones). The other main was nasi goreng udang. Tasted so much better than it looked 😆 Even the cris
