A great fast food joint, the staff are friendly and constantly make conversation with you.

Service is quick and staff are efficient during busy peak hours.

The interior is fresh, clean, modern and simple.

Can be said to be a little on the pricey side, though the food is better quality then most.

Highly recommend for a quick fix meal.

Reasonable prices and large portion size . Staff are friendly and helpful. Selection of fish and chips, burgers, kebabs and some fried chicken... good choice for lunch in the area

Fish and chips have large portions for both the medium and large options. Split a large fry and it was more than enough, should have gotten the medium. The chicken shish was also delish! Not much seating but they give takeaway boxes.

Your friendly neighborhood fish & chips shop. Fish is nicely battered and crispyly fried. Chips are chunky and the shop is very liberal with the salt and vinegar 🙌. Mushy peas are decent too. Owner is very nice and friendly. You felt welcoming right away. There are a few seats to eat indoors but it's mostly a takeaway shop. There's a Co-op across the road if you don't have ketchup or vinegar at home 🍅. Overall recommended for fish and chips, especially nice after a few pints 🐟. I've never tried their other dishes.

Our go to place for Doner wrap in Bermondsey. Absolute value for money and the owners are amazing. Their garlic sauce is one of the best we have tried here in London. The place can get crowded during the evening service and with just two people running the show it could take sometime for you to get the food but otherwise this place is really great for a great doner dinner.

I love this chippie. Good quality chips and our cod is always cooked fresh to order rather than sat under the heat lamp. We've been 5 times now, and the chips have been delicious every time. There's no option to have healthy grilled cod. So when we come we have classic battered cod. Service is friendly. Recommended.

The fish was cooked to order and battered nicely. The chips were hot and fresh. We were lucky to get a table in the really small enclosed area.

Going to tower bridge? Why not stop by Johnny's Fish Bar where the service is friendly, the food is fresh, the price is beyond reasonable, and most importantly, the taste is amazing? The fish and chips I had here was by far the best I have ever had. As this was my first and last (for now) fish and chips in London/England I don't have anything to compare it to. However, this definitely set the bar. After crossing the Tower Bridge, I arrived at Johnny's at around 11, which was when the fish and chips were just about prepared to be fried. I waited about 20minutes, which was well worth the time considering I was able to get the fish and chips at their special lunch time offer at just 3.90 pounds. And for that price the food was incredible. The fish was fluffy and meaty, the batter was thin and crisp. The chips were more soft than crispy which I didn't really mind. I had it with a side of mushy peas, which was also great. I also liked how the food itself is either lightly salted or not salted at all, which allows you to control the amount of salt you would like with your food. I had meant to give the fish and chips a taste to adjust for seasoning and take it to go, but after one bite of the freshly fried fish, I devoured it in one sitting. The next time I to go to London, this is probably going to be my first stop!

The perfect place to taste proper british fish & chips as a tourist! You see, this place doesn’t smell touristy at all, only delicious local fish! Good price, lovely people and a great experience! And say hi to Johnny, he’s a good chap!

Great as usual. £11.50 for cod and chips. £9 for a haddock no chips. Added in some extras and everything tasted great and big portion.

Food is delic and the owners are great. Took a chance based on reviews as it's a bit of a hole in the wall type of place. Got the cod & chips and they were perfect. People working there were very welcoming & friendly too. Would for sure go there again.

Possibly the best fish and chips I've had. Admittedly I'm not the biggest fan of it to begin with, but Johnny sure knows how to make a good one. It's an unassuming little place, and actually looks more like a European kebab shop than anything else.
