Stopped into the County Arms this evening, local feel, really cosy pub - tonnes of fairy lights! (Who doesn't like them?) Pleasant atmosphere - really friendly staff and you can see the sport from loads of vantage points - but not overwhelming for anyone who isn't interested in the World Cup!

Always feel so welcome when me and my family go there for dinner or just meeting for a couple of drinks. All staff are so nice and work really hard to make you feel welcome.

Live music on Friday night is quite popular. Beer and wine prices are reasonable for these days. It seems to have shed it's "bit unsavoury" image. A good thing. Decor a bit ragged but o.k.
The County serves me for many purposes. Going out for drinks with mates. A moments peace from the children. Also sometimes I bring the children and they are more than welcome. A place to work on my laptop when working from home is getting stale. The people who frequent here are nice, the staff are all lovely, the food is good. Best of all, its cheap. Win, win, win.
Good atmosphere to watch a football match
Lovely, cosy pub. Went in to keep warm out of the snow, but walked in to a DJ knocking out banging tunes, current and old school, 80s. Had the best night.
Hosted a baby shower in the function room upstairs,the space is versatile,fairy lights are already up,you are able to decorate for your event anyhow you like. We had a hot/cold buffet provided by the pub,prices for drinks were reasonable,food was delicious. Thank you County Arms for letting us host a
fabulous event.Staff were amazing and helpful.
