Food was excellent, sizes was of a good portion and the service (manners) was the best I have encountered within a West Indian environment and that is what you need.
This place recently opened up, and me and my partner just had to try out this new place. We got there and were greeted by a nice waitress, who got us to our table and took our order instantly. The food arrived quickly and tasted delicious. The menu was decently priced and it was overall an amazing experience.
I had only one order from them and it was delicious. The best peppered steak I've ever had. It's a little too pricey, large portion was 13 quid and I didn't feel full but was very hungry. Meat was exactly how I like it but I take one star off cos of the price. Other than that, no complains.
The peppersteak is out of this world after reading comments about peppersteak my skins got goosebumps 😂. At last I've found a shop that does peppersteak the right way after visiting many shop in the past.
This dish is peppersteak with white rice and pasta and also got a Guinness punch. The service was perfect and didn't have to wait long for my food. I recommend to everyone a Large dish is the way because when you order a small and tuck in when it finishes you be saying I should of got a large 😂

Right so i personally seen the halal sign right behind the counter on the right . Parking is around the corner and a few spots infront of the shop . This place takes orders on the phone ( if you can get through) and its better then waiting around in the shop (believe me when i say that). Staff are to the point but friendly and you must exercise a bit of patience when ordering because the place is always busy and the staff do try hard to push it out ( cant blame them they get none stop orders , go inside and see ) so yeah just order and wait calmly maybe 5-10 mins and you will get your food . Its a strictly takeaway , no space inside to eat ... but yeah the food is awesome . We ordered peppersteak , curry goat , pasta and rice and peas we loved it and we recommend that . Yes we do recommend this place to eat and we would be coming back . Very tasty food for a good price ( large £8 small £6 ) . Very nice experience. **tip for first timers here because it can be confusing** theres no particularly line/queue so just because your there doesn’t me the guy/girl on ur left/right aren’t infront of you so when you walk in find out whos ordered and who hasn’t (just like anywhere else ) then place your order at any point on the counter and then take a step back to the side and wait till you name is called , what they serve that day is on the black chalk board on ur left of the counter and not the board infront ( learnt the hard way 😆) and you always pay when you receive your food , not before (shop rules , so they dont get confused / ripped off i guess because of the amount of orders coming and going ...enjoy !!!
First time trying the peppered steak with rice & peas and also macaroni, it was delicious. A bit oily near the end but will definitely will be back.
At the time I went it was halal but do double check just in case they do change.
It’s a takeaway shop with some limited seats.
Ordered the peppered steak large meal with rice and peas and pasta for £9, have seen people complain about wait time but place was very, very busy and I only had to wait around 10 minutes or less which I thought wasn’t bad at all for how busy it was. Food has a lot of flavour and portion size is good for the price, lady that served me was friendly and efficient in taking everyone’s orders I would definitely recommend
Food was excellent, So enjoyable, would highly recommend, best take away I have had in ages, well worth the money….. Thank you for the superb meal
Pepper steak with pasta 10/10.
Heard about this place for a long time.. Especially the pepper steak and I wasn't disappointed when I tried it out. This place is officially the king of yardie shops in south London... Can't wait to go back and sample the rest of the menu.

There aren’t many places you can order from and the food is as good as home cooked. I ordered ackee & saltfish + curry chicken and both were soooooooooo good and I will be ordering this and more in future. Whoever makes this food been making it for years and it SHOWS. You have a new loyal customer, thanks for making my whole day with this order! 😌
Always busy for a reason. Jerk chicken is amazing. Be prepared to wait a little bit for good food!
It's the best in Brixton. The food is one of the best Caribbean food. Above all very very friendly staff. Located in Ace Lane, with good public transport. Buses and underground station, like Brixton, Clapham Common, Clapham north stations.
Beautiful delicious food, very nice portions, cooked & seasoned to perfection. Would certainly recommend & will be going back for more real soon!
Great service and staff , especially jo , food was amazing
