Superb food and friendly staff. The king prawn maharani (don't know how it's spelt) is supreme.
Excellent food but a very long wait for service.
I've been eating at Samrat for many years and have never had a bad meal. The staff are always friendly and helpful if you're feeling adventurous and want to try something different.
The best curry house I’ve been to. The quality of the food, the portion sizes, the service…couldn’t fault the place. It’s worth every single penny.

One of Indian and Bangladesh based Restaurant in Pitshanger Lane. You can enjoy veg as well non_veg food. Waiting time long but good food. In dinner time its busy. Good service.
Always good food but not always coming out of kitchen hot as in cooked not as in menu choice.
Haven’t eaten indian food in a while. I decided to give the Samrat a go and its safe to say I’m back stronger. Highly recommend
- The hygiene rating caused a bit of discomfort (rating of 1!)
- The food was tasty though, a good lamb madras and vindaloo
- The staff were very friendly and warm
- Restaurant ambiance is quiet and low-key

Came here in November 2022. Heard about it through Peter Crouch Pod. Staff were all friendly and place was very clean. Food was piping hot and arrived quick
Can't fault it. Went for Banquet night and had 10/10 service and food.
Google says they open at 12.00 noon their website states Open seven days a week including Bank holidays from noon to 2.30pm & 6.00pm to 11pm paid a visit but was told they open at 6pm. Please amend your opening hours, so people don't get confused. Look forward to visiting sometime soon.
