Wow.. so it’s easy to get distracted when walking in here for the first time as it’s so different from other speciality coffee places. But the only thing that really matters is that the coffee is excellent. Smooth, full bodied and presented in a re-usable, recyclable mug. Prices are reasonable for London and you can buy a variety of beans and cakes too. I didn’t sit down but there was plenty of seating available. Only small gripe is that the baristas weren’t as friendly as other independents.

I really enjoyed the Ethiopian Blend I chose. They give you a menu of beans and you can choose any of them for your coffee. Very friendly staff and fun takeaway cups (although perhaps not environmentally friendly..)

Probably the best coffee in town. You can buy several roasts from different areas along with teas. It's surprisingly good with a very nice staff. You can find above range of pastries to go with.

Great coffee in the heart of the city. This space age style coffee shop is a must. They have iPads along the bar where you can see the full menu including the different types of beans the have on offer. Sadly they dont seem to have any guest beans so once you have been a few times you have tried most things they have on offer. But the show they put on while making the coffee is great fun.

A very interesting selection of coffees, I tend to go for brewed coffees to taste what they offer. The pitch of the place is that you can select from a variety of coffees and roasteries along with different extraction methods (brewed of espresso shots). For the price it is definitely something that just for a special treat. Room for improvement in terms of creating a culture of coffee (staff were not hugely informative). Minimalistic and Corporate atmosphere.

Certainly a unique experience, The New Black looks like they are trying to take the modernist cuisine ethic to the coffee shop. The proof of the pudding is in the eating and here they deliver. It is great coffee, really good. But whether it suits the concept of coffee is another question. Coffee shops have always been gritty, grimy, earthy places. Here it's too lab like and sterile. This precision produces a fine end result, but I just can't take their earnest behavior seriously. I'll be back for more, but I'll always take out.

They put so much attention into each cup. There are many varieties of beans to choose from by reading descriptions AND by smelling them :) I got the Melbourne blend cappuccino and it was lovely. They grind the beans with each order and I could tell that the baristas put a lot of care when it comes to precision. The froth and temperature were on point as well (aka extremely chuggable). Service was friendly and it was a good third wave coffee experience for me. Downside is that it is a little bit on the pricier side, but they are definitely a treat!

One of the coffee shops in the city, space to sit, exceptional selection of coffee and even some outside space.

I love the coffee here, the range of choice (overwhelming at first but the staff talk you through) is brilliant and you get more of an understanding for the tastes and aromas you like. It is a bit on the expensive side if you want something more particular or milk, and there is usually a little wait but its worth it more often than not.

Really cool coffee shop. New, futuristic layout, interesting roasts available, and quality cups. The only thing I would say is that it’s not the easiest ordering process. Seating is designed to encourage shorter visits, and not overly comfortable.

Outstanding coffee. I don't say this lightly (or without a lot of research) but it's the best in London. Their attention to detail is evident in the complexity of flavour in each cup. We are lucky to have them

Coffee shop with a difference, attempt to take you on a wine shop type of experience with coffee from different parts off the world and different notes of flavour. Good coffee and good space to sit in and grab a table for either a meeting or to get done work done

Very good coffee shop in the City, right next to the Walkie Talkie. They have a selection of coffees to choose from. And from my experience, the staff are very keen to help you pick a type of bean that suits your taste.

High-tech 'artisan' coffee specialist in the City of London that makes Starbucks seem almost Dickensian. An enthusiastic selection of coffees and teas, served by friendly and efficient staff. It looks like they only accept card payments, using compact iZettle (or similar) card readers. Eschewing cash should make for quicker service. Users of contactless payment cards, Android Pay and Apple Pay will be fans of this place. Nordic-inspired design creates a bright, sleek interior.

Great selection of artisan coffee of various origins roasted by baristas from all over the world. Good selection of pastries and sandwiches. Very cosmopolitan and sophisticated place.
